  4. yeah that pretty normal smell wise. Maybe stick a bottle of Fiction Modifying additive to see if that fixes your problem. I use it in my 2-way to stop it clunking and grinding, i use penrite additive but chryler-jeep and ford motorsport also make it

  11. When you replaced the oil was it metallic in color? What sort of oil did you replace it with?
  12. Take the clutch off and look for any brand markings, like "daiken" or something else
  13. In the top right hand corner of this screen, there is a box. This box has the word "search" scribed into it. It is written faintly so you may have to look hard. If you click in this box you will be able to write "gearbox oil" into it. Writing said combination of words into this box will reveal 25 pages of topics relating to "gearbox oil". One of these topics will have the answer inside it, go on, use it, i dare ya...
  14. If a seal was gone inside the transmission then the unit as a whole wouldnt operate how you are describing. It would be worse and possibly wouldnt drive properly at all
  15. Stole the idea off "Roy" off the vic forums. Made the engine bay look real clean unlike the conventional style cooler piping. Can't use it with the new setup tho

  19. Was there much friction material or other gunk in the sump/ filter when you removed it. It does sound like a mechanical issue, possibly a sticky valve or sticky solenoid which works better once the oil is warm and has thinned a tiny bit
  20. i believe the NA33 yoke is the same size as the 20. They have the small boxes in them dont they? Get a custom shaft made to stop all the rooting around it will be easier
  21. RIPS NZ replied to an email i sent regarding this topic, they use a 25 one as it is longer but i am unsure as i havent tried it yet

  23. A couple of guys i work with went down to Windy harbor 2 weeks ago and caught nothing at all. I did get told on Fri that apparently a few have been caught up near Hungry Hollow there and also over near the cut on Belvedere side near the reef, havent tested the waters yet so am unsure if its true
