I have them in mine, had them installed with the projectors lights and they worked great, a lot better than standard bulbs. I now have the square N1 headlights but am yet to see how the HIDs work as the car is off the road
check around the back doors inside and out for surface rust aswell as where the bonnet hinges and around the windows, i had a tiny bit around these places when i bought mine before i had it removed. i also had my jacking points down the side of the car crushed which were covered up by a bodykit so maybe check there.
i removed the hicas and the little box and the light stayed on, steering was still fine. pull the bulb out or try and rewire the hicas box to think everything is still connected
unless you can get them off a wreck somewhere, but being pressure plate bolts i would go new if i didnt have any. Just so i could know the condition of them

are you going to be going 200km/h? if so the mechanical speedo option is there. i'm waiting for my VL turbo speedo to ge there so i can do the conversion as stated in the driveline threads.
the boilermakers at work have been welding cast alot lately and ive noticed they cool it down in lime. How do you guys cool the manifolds down after preheating and welding?
I dont know how much my cover is as work pays for it but its HBF top level, covers me and my missus. I had fillings done and my wisdom teeth pulled and i think so far its saved me 2k. also covers me for glasses and other shit
