  1. you'd be wasting your money. Alot of people stick redline in to stop a worn synchro from crunching. IMO that is also a waste of money, the synchro is f**ked get it fixed. If you want to stick the additive in then yes you can put it in through the gearstick hole
  2. I'm restoring my 4 door and have been looking for door seals. 3 Nissan dealerships here in WA said they were discontinued. Von Bibra nissan queensland emailed nissan japan and got a reply saying they would have to be remanufactured if there was enough interest plus a month or 2 wait. $100 all up for front and rear welts. Part numbers if your interested 76923-01u00 76921-01u00 If you have FAST double check the numbers against your VIN but that is what i got
  3. i just purchased some new door seals through von bibra nissan on the goldcoast. there is a 2 month wait tho as they have to be manufactured. part numbers are 76923-01u00 and 76921-01u00 cost me $100 all up if your interested give them a ring on (07) 5556 2966
  4. if you choose to ignore it the bearing in question could collapse and cause quite extensive damage. I'd say now would be the perfect time to get your unit overhauled.

  6. i like using R60 solvent. dries clean eats the crud away quickly tho i havent tried it with brake parts. You also have to watch as if you get dermatitis on your hands it'll make ya have a reaction

  8. +1 fitter here. I have plate bashers in my crew, i looove fabbing/welding shit better than them. They all seem to have have short fuses from the fumes they suck in

  12. what are novus windscreens callout fee? i don't see how it costs that much either for the glue and shit. NIC A31: my price was for a 4 door 32, tinted with the aerial inside the glass annnndddd freighted from melbourne. are there any mobile peoples in the yellow pages that can install it??
  13. i got a windscreen for my 32 from obriens down here in bunbury for $220 freighted plus 60 beans fitted. why the heck would a ceffie one cost more?

A er friend of err mine did this to. tell him to strip it and let it sit in his garage for a year or until he gets sick of looking at then sell it and buy a commodore so he do fully sick uleh skids in a straight line and only break back bits not front bits. My err friend also did the finger test. Nedless to say she squeeled. So send it to a mechanic and stop being a tightass

  17. australian truck and auto parts do a rebuild kit apparently. in WA they are a wholesaler and dont supply the public though
  18. i also did the silicon trick for a temp fix. Just Jap have new harnesses check out their website
