  1. is said workshop near an 80 zone? is it near a parts store or wheels alignment place within 2.6km there and back? the rear end had to be realigned? if they realigned it any decent mechanic would test drive said vehicle to check that everything feels right. or even run it up on a hoist. its very easy to run a car up to 80kms/h on a hoist. did your rsm record top revs made? the mechanic could have also test driven it around the block before and after they did the work. this is a lot of fuss over nothing
  2. called him to discuss ways about getting it repaired. as soon as he mentioned warranty was void because of the heat wrap thats when i decided to go a different route. but anyway this isnt a thread about bitching i'm looking into what other manifolds are out on the market or even if i can make my own.
  3. pretty shity quality but heres a couple i found of the merge collector. 2 runners further down cracked 3/4 the way round a couple of welds but i have since tiged them up myself. my mani might have just been a single incident i havent really heard bad things about them which is why i chose one.
  4. Hi Roy sorry i didnt get back to you back in march, i ended up increasing the gate size, boost spike reduced 3psi and hp increased to 310. This is where it got crap and the 6boost gave in and cracked everywhere and i destroyed my clutch/box. car has been sitting in the garage since as the house payments take more priority than my baby unfortunately. keep us informed as to how your 6boost performs and in general how you go with the new setup. also if you plan on using the manifold i recomend perhaps getting it ceramic coated. i had mine wrapped in fibreglass heat wrap stuff and this apparently aided in it cracking.
  5. The old converters get reconditioned when ever they get pulled apart. Both of those prices you received sound good.
  6. you shouldnt really mix those 2 oils together. and definetly DO NOT put the treatment in unless the unit is fingered. for a full flush i would have bought 3x 4L containers but if its bad like you say possibly 4 containers.
  7. payment has been made an pm sent. cheers

Bunbury Nissan werent really much help and reckon they can't get any door or window rubbers/seals for my 4 door 32. i'm freshening up the paint and want to replace all these, is there any places in perth that deal with these sorts of seals. Windscreens obrien will stick generic seals in windows which just pop out and clark rubber dont have the door rubbers. Any help is appreciated

  18. i didnt buy mine to be economical either, an i also don't give a shit with the 20litres per 100km i get with the td06 and my measly 300hp,i deal with this fact. i just dont see why others cant with their vehicles

  20. far out looks like that box has copped a hiding. ive seen axles twist like that but not a mainshaft. good luck tryin to repair it
  21. This arguement is funny, i bet you's all complained BUT STILL bought fuel when it was over $1.60 a litre, now that its around $1 a litre some of you's are still whinging. wats gona happen when the prices rise again you's are just gona waste more time complaining. Either deal with it or stop buying fuel an ride a fricking push bike around
  22. just got home from the tuner in perth. car made 305hp with 21psi boost, an about 2500lbs of torque, will get the graph scanned an video uploaded when i can. talkin to the tuner we're going to put a 7pound spring in the gate and try an control it better with a better boost controller. car ran smoothly with out any big dramas other than having to reduce plug gap more to .7mm and on the way home had my clutch master cylinder shit itself. if i had to do this setup again with the 6boost manifold i think i would start at a 50mm or bigger gate, upgrading from 38 to 44 has seen the spike drop 8pounds already so possibly going bigger would let this drop again, in saying this im in the process off trying to make up my own manifold similar in style to 6boost but made out of high grade stainless with provision for a 60mm TIAL gate in a more better position. we'll see how this turns out.
  23. the trailer looks more decent than the other movies combined. i'll probly rent it, burn it straight away then return it without watching it all this whilst avoiding the late fee
