ive changed it now anyways filter got in the way of otherstuff, i stuck a 90degree bend an some straight pipe in there to route it into the stock airbox position
ah k car is as is now- TD06, 6boost mani, gate, EMS, everything is heat wrapped. just a radiator an cooler on front of car, hoping to get a vented bonnet soon and theres the stock cooler piping hole tryin to let cooler air in
just getting my car back together and just want to know whether or not having the pod filter strapped straight onto the front of the compressor housing causes any problems.
cheers peoples
and when you ring mazda " o na mate first time ive ever of anything like this. must just be your car". Ford did the same thing when the radiators in the BA's broke.
its a kaaz thing, mine does it in carparks, just make sure when it comes time for an oil change you put the right oil an additive in it otherwise it'll clunk an grind an carry on an you'll hate it an think you've f**ked something
an unplugged speed sensor on the outside of the box could cause it to go into limp mode, a car battery on the way out could cause it to go into limp mode. just cos it goes into limp mode doesnt mean its an internal problem. take it to a transmission specialist to get sorted out they SHOULD have the knowledge an know how to diagnose an fix it properly
depends on wat your next project is going to be really and how many people out there want your parts. once the car is stripped and everything that you dont want is gone or wateva check out the papers or net for someone that picks up wrecks for scrap metal. and if you find one that will give you money thats another bonus
ive got a 6boost on rb20 with td06, took 6 months but i finally got, have yet to have the car tuned but as im waiting on my welder to get back form holidays. it looks to be of very high quality so i beleive it was worth the cost
in WA its legal for a pod filter but it has to be an oil type and securely mounted, AFAIK boost controllers arent legal. it gets frustrating with each state having different laws on shit most of the time
