that oil is way to thin for the diff, stick an lsd oil in it like ls90 or ls140 plus an additive like ford motorsport diff additive or something similar
take it to a transmission specialist to get it looked at immediately so as to not do any further possible damage inside. sounds like an internal problem
see if you can look into the bellhousing through the hole in the side an try an see if the pivot is broken. why did you only replace the slave cylinder an not both at the same time?
60mm seems to be the go, i'll ask about the 304 option i dont want anything shiny/blingy the 316 looked like the raw plazmaman plenums in the classifieds section thats why i was gona go that way
after some advice on wat the best size would be intercooler piping wise to suit my setup,
i have a td06 the outlet is bout 1 3/4 inchs, FMIC inlet an oulet tubes are 3 inch and throttle body is stock rb20 which is 70mm i think. the tubing is gona be made out of 316 stainless pipe and the 3 sizes available are 60mm, 75mm and 100mm. would it be better to just run 60mm piping through the system and use adaptors for the cooler an throttle body or 3inch all the way through.
what size does everyone else use?
Cheers
yeah you have to take the box out to replace it. 55 beans is ok nismo ones on here are the same price. the retaining spring comes off just how it looks just flick it off
he's had it for 3 weeks an its now making a noise. sounds like he hasnt installed it right or something has come loose. has he had a mechanic check it out and diagnose it properly
the insides are identical they could be out of 32s or 33s i dunno wat gtrs come out with. the "square nuts" are pressure ports so you can pressure test the box
i use ls140 with ford motorsport additive in my kaaz 2way so i dont see why it wouldnt work in a cusco. as for gearbox i use 75/90. dont see the point in using expensive shit when i'll only change it in 30,000kms
we come across this alot at work. to fix it properly pull the box out, pull the bell housing off, tig the crack, retap the hole, refit bell housing. it happens a lot in transfer cases when rough kents over tighten the drain plugs
