nissan should be able to do it. or any workshop with a decent scanner like the new modus snap on scanner or a launch. you dont have to replace the body control module like with the new falcons an magnas do ya?
ive got 18 inch wedsports on mine 7.5inch wide. had to make 10mm spacers for the front tho to clear the brakes, dont rub on any guards or suspension. have it lowered with tein coilovers
i did this in my rally thrash car just before i threw it into a tree. doesnt work at all. some servos even carry a small arrangement of parts. if your in one before tuesday have a quick look round
yeah if its the cone type lsd centre they arent the best of units. i installed a kaaz centre into a turbo vl about 2 months ago and there needs to be some extensive mods made to make it fit. i had to grind down the pinion teeth to get it to fit and it took a while to get it 100% otherwise the pinion hit on the centre as it is a much larger unit. if you plan on getting one i would get someone who knows exactly what there doing to get it done right the first time. good luck
if theres proof written down of the mileage by the mechanic chances are it hasnt been messed with. if the numbers dont all line up then its been messed with
I've just installed a hicas lock bar in my car and gotten rid of all the piping, solenoids and routed a cooler in with the oil feed an return pipes. just wondering on what everyone else did with all the crap thats left over, do you's just chuck it out or stash it in the corner with the rest of the gear? also i never realised how much weight there was in all that gear
have you been giving it a hard time? if it was a bearing problem usually the sounds is there all the time except in 4th. you'd have to pull the box apart to see whats happened or just find a 2nd hand one from somewhere

im chasing an oil return pipe or plate with fitting for my td06s l2 20g or even better an oil line kit. does anyone know where i can get one as im on holidays an cant make one at work.

i havent had any experience with gtr lsds not many of them in town mainly just normal car lsds and bomadores, most just tend to wear out if they get given a hard time, if you drag race or do burnouts etc etc they wear out quicker than normal.
you could always replace all the frictions with new ones and put new shims an that in there. just reading my manual theres 2 different thicknesses you can get LSD friction plate

perhaps rip the diff out of your car, if ya know wat your doin pull her apart and check the condition of the plate and take a rough measurement of the plates, check for wear inside the housing an go from there
those part numbers are from nissan itself aswell
genuine nissan theres the first problem, take your slave cylinder to a brake/clutch specialist and see if they can compare it to a different model car, ie my 32 has a slave cylinder that is also used on a series 3 TRX bluebird which is $18.
my snap on 3/8 drive rattle gun, i can get it to sound like a drag car at idle then like an F1 car at full song, goes well for now. also got air cut off saws,grinder,chisel,1/2inch rattle gun all noisy things
