    Lifter noise in FTO's is a common thing (most Mitsu's actually) and is often stopped by adjusting the lifters clearance, dunno if you can do this in the RB's but maybe look into it? The type of oil you use also makes a difference.

    I converted my FTO to a manual after I blew the auto (twice) and it's just a whole different car. Do it, you won't look back.

    Leigh, that's where you lean out the window and ask them to move politely? You'd be suprised how many people perk up and scoot out of the way when you rev your engine at them. On a serious note though; who has right of way in carparks? Peds or treads?

    Watching for children is something I do constantly in car parks......well not even children....mainly just retards who walk off in their own little oblivious world. I know it technically wouldn't be our fault but I'm sure none of us want that horrible feeling that would be associated with hitting a pedestrian.

    Alternatively you can try www.dashboardcentre.com.au I've seen the work these guys do in person and the quality is superb! Unlike those crappy stick on layer things this actually dips your piece (no not that piece). Bit pricier though.

    I agree with Stevie......I always try to find little spots in the shopping centres where (touch wood) things are less likely to happen. Even if it means a bit of a walk to get to the doors. Having had a trolley dent before, it's an aweful feeling to walk up to the car and just see this huge dent in your baby. Spotted: Black S1 33 with tri-spoke wheels parked behind me at the Hyper D.

    Do R33 GTR rails bolt straight into the floor plan on a GTS-T?? Basically I've got a Sparco rail set that looks like it should fit but is a few centimeters too long. Could another alternative be to drill two more holes into the floor plan to allow the rails to bolt in? Or is drilling into the floor plan a bad idea? I'm literally talking like another centimeter away from the current bolt holes for stock rails. Cheers guys.
