  6. pistons can be had for around 1400 rods a little more cams are like 1k a set , gears around 400 bucks see where im heading... add the sum of the parts together, then add labour, you might get a price without having to ask
  7. every ecu is going to aim for the same closed loop settings pretty much.
  8. end of the day economy like that means absolutely nothing anyone can fill a tank, cruise along at minimal revs, make a 70 odd litre tank last for ages and get on here and wank off about economy. how about the on boost economy. end of the day you got people here with 500 - 800 hp skylines, and your talking about off boost economy? what a joke, we all know they arnt built to be fuel misers. otherwise you wouldnt be running up to 2 bar of compressed air into them. worry about drivability, starting, that sort of thing. there is going to be little different in on boost economy anyhow.

  11. s2 33 has vvt also, not sure if s1 do. friends ex r33 made well over 350 rwhp on stock internals, and for more then a week. 320 is a walk in the park. 13psi causes me motor to knock does it? is that 13 psi with a stock turbo? a gt30r? t88? because they all flow the equal same amount of air at 13psi.... a stock 34 turbo is out of puff before a 33 one. dont forget that.

I didnt even own the car when it made the power, so i have no need whatsoever to talk it up. Those numbers where made on a DD accredited dyno The car had A garrett cooler, not gtr sized, just under. A mettams morley dump and front, leading into a apexi cat back. 3 inch hi flow cat 11 psi Walbro fuel pump KN air filter s2 motor manual standard timing 272 rwhp. www.antilag.com/personal/tom/my31 for pics of the engine bay etc, so you can see it wasnt packing a hidden t88 etc. tj and back to the argument ... 319 rwhp is very very very hard to believe

  15. your not going to find 60-70 hp from bonnet being up or down.
  16. my rb25 made 240 rwhp the with a stock r31 na exhaust and no cooler on 9 pound when my i got my 31... stock airbox and all.

  18. No way in hell its making that sort of power with totally stock bits cams, headwork ? maybe more capacity ? what sort of correction on the dyno? is the dyno currently dyno dynamics accredited?
  19. the 2 door 33 and 32 I layed out last night didnt seem to do the 2 door war any good they got beaten by a built not bought 4 door turbo toyota ffs! and its not even tuned and running .6 bar... muahhaha sleeper 4 doors for the win.. having said that im pretty sure my next car will be a 33 4 door..

Get up early one sunday morning fill up tank, bring camera, and a road map. drive, just drive. go to random places youve never seen before, youll find something suitable. i once found a suitable photoshoot location because i was so hanging to pee i pulled in behind these shops in a "ghetto" area of town. what i found was an awesome painted mural , looks rough, which is perfect

  22. yeah sounds like turbo gasket , or maybe exhaust wasnt sealed right when put in or your screaming like a girl cos your not used to the power
  23. I remember watching it make 380 when lent on. Thing was stupidly efficent for an 11 sec car. Thing would have to right right up there as quickest stock turbo / internalled GTR in WA if not Aus. Dont count nos as its additional forced induction. End of the day dude, you could make a lot worse a choice then De-Jetro. There popular for a reason. Not only do they work well, but any import biased tuner should be able to do them right. Gives you massive flexibility! Need a retune before a drag event and your guys not well or in jail, means anyone else competent enough can tune it. Getting a less reknowned ecu will mean options become limited, and makes things hard at times. Its why im not a fan of roms. Leaves you stuck with one guy and one guy only. Likewise if an ecu has no tuner support, and you get stuck with a useless tuner, its going to limit the ecu's abilities. Good luck with whatever you do.
  24. might be for sale if I can secure the other car i want black 1988 cressida glx aussie delivered, electric windows, blue velour interior jzx81 half cut conversion 1jz gte 2.5l twin turbo, motor has just been replaced with a low km motor r154 manual conversion lsd 18 inch gmax rims with dish and stock cressida rims mods (most of them under 400km old) custom one off dumps and front section made by mettams in morely - 3 inch hks cat back 3 inch ending in 4 inch tip 75mm cooler and piping by mettams again 3 inch (new cooler is unpainted unlike the one in the pics) brand new bosch 040 fuel pump safc 2 limited edition black (untuned atm) profec b 2 boost controller (not connected atm) all new oils filters seals etc kn filter , also have trust filter, requires new element brand new engine mounts (toyota charge $360 each) heavy duty tailshaft after the first custom one shat itself with 238 rwhp it did a 13.8 it made 290 rwhp before replacement motor it now has the dumps on top and more fuel. "should" do a really low 13 / high 12 the dent acquired in an accident in december has been approve for repair at delaporte smash repairs balcatta and as soon as the gaurd has arrived it will be put on the car. this can be confirmed by anyone unsure. body is decent for a car of this age. I always wanted to build a turbo cressida, ive done that, time to move on. its my nature, build, enjoy, move on. 12kish is the number that would get this outta my hands. considering what i just spent fixing it you could say im throwing a heap of cash away. get yourself a now well sorted car which is pretty unique too. considering manual 1j cuts are at least 4k, you can see how quickly it would add up. www.antilag.com/personal/tom/cressy and before anyone asks , i will not sell the lsd seperate. i will not sell the box seperate. i may keep and sell the safc and ebc if needs be. tj [email protected]
