I did this with my S1 stagea. I bought it with a broken motor so I just replaced the motor and auto box with R33 GTST items. I had to make a custom tailshaft and gearbox crossmember, and had to adapt the box from linkage setup to cable setup but that wasn't massive dramas. All the wiring matched up fine. It was surprisingly easy Also didn't need any of the attessa nonsense of front driveshafts so I saved some weight and complexity there.

The ECU in my car that these were running with is 23740-0V300

I'm thinking of using vinyl to cover them rather than painting them. Would be a great deal easier

Any of you guys tried to use the existing plates with some fibreglass mods to bolt them down and clean them up in the sections where the racks went through them? Ive got a spare pair of rails i'm thinking of trying this with. Should cost much (like $20 in fibreglass and resin). I'm just assuming there is a reason it hasn't been tried yet

I have recently bought a neo rs4s so will be selling my S1 c34. I was just about to get it tuned with nistune but dont need them anymore so i'm selling 2 loom/ecu kits Regarding the loom/ecu stuff: The z32 ECU kit is nistuned and has a map in it for stock injectors and a z32 afm. I've had it running on my car (only in the driveway - i never got it tuned). The loom consists of a field harness (~$250) with a z32 loom spliced in. It uses the stock ECU for controlling the auto and some other functions. There is about 2foot of ecu wiring to allow you to put the z32 ecu somewhere convenient. I'd be after the most of cost of parts for this. There was at least 8 hours work as well. ECU - $120, Nistune - $250, Field Harness -$250, Z32 ECU harness $50. The parts added to $670 but i'll let it go for $550. It will cost you double this to get it made $550 The R32 ECU kit isn't nistuned, but it came from a Kiwi4s4 who had a chip in it to suit his setup. It has a custom adapter loom made by someone in NZ. It isn't nistuned but has the socket soldered into the ecu to make nistuning a plug and play affair. I'm after 250 for this kit. $250 Located in Campbelltown, Sydney

They are both custom made. The Z32 ECU version uses a field harness extender with the Z32 ecu loom spliced in and the R32 one is full custom. The R32 one was made by some workshop in NZ

You sure its a GTR? I cant find ANY R33 GTR hicas lock kits (which suggests they dont have hicas), but there are plenty of R33 gtst ones.

I am using coilovers from an auto stagea, but i'm aware that i need to swap the rear eyelet for a fork. I've got a welder so that is easy enough Can anyone tell me what hicas lock I need to get? Is it the same as R33?
