  1. Has anyone considered making rail replacements out of strips of auto body mould like found at clark rubber? ie remove existing rail, buy about 5m of 2in wide rubber body body mould (like the bump strips on the side of cars), cut it to length and stick it to the roof where the rail was? I think i'll head down to clark rubber to see if they have something suitable
  2. These will be going on ebay shortly if not sold
  3. I don't know why you guys are complaining about no pics being posted. He has already posted pics of his car under one of his other usernames in the Stagea FS section. It doesn't take a genius to work out his other nick. Don't be put off by the fact he seems to talk to himself in some of his threads These tricks aren't against the forum rules though
  4. You are right, i missed that bit. I suspect that these aren't actually the specs though else ATS wouldn't be marketing it as a 3076. One would assume they would know better than that.
  5. Was there anyone timing the grip sessions? Based on that video, the S13 was doing about 46sec laps
  6. How can you tell from those photos? You'd really need to measure the exducer diameter to know for sure Its no real surprise that your turbos are better all-round performers than this one. Remember that yours were designed as a complete package by garrett, but the ATS turbo has the wrong wheels for the housings (despite the fact they are machined to fit) That's the compromise for having things looking standard i guess. The same wheels in the right housing would no doubt bring on boost sooner and go on to make more power, but then he would need to worry about manifold to comp housing clearance, external gate and lots of other non-standard things Also no doubt you guys have the newer generation comp wheel, whereas the ATS one has the old-school T04S wheel

  10. I have for sale a Trust 3in Turbo-back exhaust for R33 2dr Appears to be ok condition. It has one hole that has been patched, and it has been resprayed with flameproof paint. The back muffler is stainless and the rest is mild steel. I bought this exhaust for my wifes 4dr R33 but it turns out that 2dr exhausts are slightly different to the 4dr ones so it didn't fit her car - the rear part of the exhaust hit the subframe. Pickup only in Campbelltown, Sydney $200 Patch
  11. Personally I wouldn't bother with the RB30 and put an RB25 in instead. You will need to do something about the inlet manifold though as it will hit the master cylinder. Using a china manifold could fix this problem Torana Tare weight is 990. You should be able to keep it under 1000kg If your mate wants it as a circuit car, he will have to spend a bucketload to make it go around corners. It will be great in a straight line though. Here is some pics of the LJ RB20DET I did many moons ago (I sold it as an unfinished project)
  12. Yeah its a great track. Probably more suited for light/nimble cars as opposed to larger boaty type cars (eg skylines)
  13. Looks like I've found some sideskirts locally, and shipping would really make the rear skirt extensions work out pretty expensive. Thanks anyway
  14. Also will consider trades for interesting 17in rims in 9in+widths
  15. Now up on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=280363072971
  16. Any idea how much shipping would be to sydney on the sideskirts and rear lip? (if you would seperate from bar that is)
  17. Its best to adjust the TPS when connected to Nissan Consult. You want the idle position to be below the point where the 'idle closed' switch is activated. You might get this right just by setting via voltages, but you might not
