sorry man it wasn't really a well organised thing. We lost everyone after some folks got pulled over and it wasn't a good idea using the CB's after that.

I had fun, but I don't think I could keep up with that GTS. I really want his rear pods, but I have a sneaking suspicion that he dosen't wanna give em to me any more.

heh u have a turbo in that thing? Wasn't working too well from what I could see in my *rear vision mirror* good u can get plenty of shots of the back of my car while trying to keep up again Was a great day all up. Very well organised & a great drive. Now i'm going to go get over my hang over cause Al, Evil and a few of us got hammered afterwards at a pub.

hi I've had the whole steering rack and all tie rods replaced in my car and its not that much of a hassle. Can you be a bit more specific as to what is worn? Personally i've changed both my tie-rods in my '93 32GTS-T as I wanted everything to be absolutely perfect. If you're getting vague handling then its most likely worn upper control arm bushe's, tie rods etc. Nothing unusual for a used car. I doubt a 34 GTT rack would fit but you never know......

this is great info Funky. One question. Weren't the latter R32's heavier due to the structural changes you mentioned? (Side impact bars etc)

the front of your car is designed to crumple as is the front of the BMW. Rear-ending something is quite different. (If thats what you did?)

These cars arne't fragile. Its ppl thinking they're invincible in a performance vehicle then they hit something and are suprised what happens to metal travelling at speed hitting a (hard) stationary object.
