A little late notice but.... On Saturday a few of us are going to Calder Park. Events include drag racing, quarter mile time trials, Motorcana (on grass), Grab a flag (on grass/dirt) and laps around the Thunderdome. We are going to be there 11am. Best part is we are having drinks afterwards at Watergardens hotel pub corner of Keilor Melton Highway and Kings Road. This is going to be after we have all had our fill of fun for the day.

yeh that car was very cool. The best condition 32 i've seen to date. The damned thing is like a brand-new car! (its a locally delivered GTR that has been rebuilt).

Yep was great to see a Skyline do that sort of power in front of all the folks watching. Sounded awesome too when you're standing near it!

the chassis itself is identical. The cross member I do know is different however.

and may I ask whats wrong with having no grill?

the black top is the one that comes with r32, cefiro etc. Your rocker covers have most likely been painted?

how about just getting a nismo one instead? When I went to Nissan I bought a GTR one instead for $40 but havn't used it yet.........(rice factor using it on a GTS-T) Wish Nissan stocked Nismo ones!

when a large wheel & tyre place in Sunshine cross threaded one of the studs on my car they replaced it for free. I watched the whole process and it only took the guy 10mins so I don't think it'd be too expensive at all.

it is possible to make the stock gts one fit by modifying it but the GTR one has the advantage of having the grill fit perfectly as well. Anyway if you're going to go to the trouble of getting a new bonnet might as well get the proper latch. These bits are pretty rare - hard to find (i know from personal experience) sorry for the talk in your F.S thread Narky. btw do you have a grill as well by any chance?

dude that sucks. The guy who sold them to you would have known this eh? When i had a drift incident thats what happened to my new 18's. But I would have never sold them to some poor sucker. Time to see if you can source 2 rims maybe? Its not all bad.

i hope that after the gtr badge, stickers, gt wing that it also includes those hideous rims!

my god that is one of the worst 32's i've seen in my life. I'm ashamed to have a gun-metal 32 now. Definately a what-not-to-do-to-a-Skyline story.

thanks for the info man. Also i'm gettin adj. upper control arm bushes put in place to adj. camber. Also getting adj. castor rod buses as well. I was asking about replacing the upper control arms and castor rods to improve handing but the place where the car is at just said to get the bushes as its not worth getting the whole hog. This correct? Is the chassis (apart from the flared guard) of a GTS-T and GTR identical. i.e could the running gear of a R be transplanted into a T without major mods?
