  1. Anyone got a working live stream for FP1?
  2. Would the Excels used in the Victorian Excel Championship (Dirt Rally) be legal for circuit use as well? ... One car; multiple forms of racing; cheap as chips for replacement parts ...
  3. Well done guys awesome work and great to see another 32 punching above it's expected division!! Although everyone here should be following Crest Racecraft thus have already read the link the boys posted up this morning the following words from the "gentleman navigator" deserve to be repeated here, much congratulations!!
  4. Do you still have the stereo console surround, if so what colour is it?
  5. Ferrari to give Pastaboy cash to accidentally crash into Vettel in the US ... Come on, don't say you don't approve ...
  6. The R35 tried to be exciting going into turn 1 on the grass inside the HR31 ... Wakefield staff didn't seem to appreciate the excitement either, I thought it was most entertaining I would say closer to 75% of the field had never driven Wakefield; and potentially 60% never driven on a race track before judging from the amount of hands up at the drivers briefing at the start of the day. Considering the lack of retrieval or yellow flag incidents over the day meant they at least were learning within their limits, go to a Tampered Day in Victoria and enjoy the wonder of door to door club sprint racing ... The wakefield staff seem to have a much lower tolerance of people pushing hard than what I've witnessed at both Winton, Sandown or Mallala; much more in keeping with the nazis of PI.
  7. Cheers Scott, I managed to find a decently priced park light on ebay the other week so I snaffled that up, but definitely shoot me a PM how much you want for the guard
  8. Sad news from the adelaide hills today http://www.abc.net.au/news/2012-08-24/targa-rally-death-adelaide/4220994
  9. As long as it drys enough to have a dry line, I'm all for the rain, is at least more understandable than the Tyre supplier this year!
  10. As per the title suggests, I'm chasing a drivers side front guard and just the drivers side park-light assembly for an S1 C34 Stagea. Had some 'mad guy' R33 GTS-T reverse into me and while he got away with just a bumper bar scratch, there's a bit of damage on the front of the Stagea that now needs fixing. Bumper can probably be fixed, but the guard and light are well and truly borked!! Would prefer to source the parts locally before chasing from O/S, guard colour not important but red/burgundy would be best. Cheers, Andrew
  11. I thought Vetool swung the other way like a certain V.Rossi?
  12. Picture found on R31SC from a competitor attending with a quote from Martin;
  13. Cue seeing some of the evo/wrx brigade attempting this maybe
  14. We need Massa back at the front crashing into Hamilton to make sure the WCC is at least interesting this year Loved how loose a lot of the cars are and am really hoping that there are a couple of wet races this year to really sort the men out from the boys. Seems the stewards this year are going to allow a bit of biff and barge which should make it interesting.
  15. *waiting for Brisby's rating on whether he'd punch her ...
  16. With a Z31 couldn't you run it as a 200ZR with an RB20 (silvertop conversion with redtop covers if you have too), thus bringing the costs back to 32 levels but with an earlier build date ...
  17. Congrats to the Winners and all the Runners Up, well deserved for solid driving through-out the year. Thanks to Aaron/Import Monster and the organising team plus helpers for putting on another great year of events, you set a very high benchmark for DECA events.
  18. Didn't know that SAU meetings were places people pickup Ash, interesting concept ... By your own statement some people wont come even if they do know they need to be there. Would have thought you guys had a policy of recycling trophies if said peoples can't be bothered collecting them, seems more appropriate than hanging onto them in the hope that they eventually show up. I was primarily suggesting it for the 'benefit' of those that probably know they're in the running for awards and thus will be attending anyway, plus wasn't there some mention of free food being involved, that always gets the natives excited ...
  19. Just a suggestion, why don't the organisers hold off on these results till the Awards night. No doubt the winners of the day are already attending and it will also mean that the overall trophies will be a surprise for most (well some of them at least!!)
  20. Thanks to the Organisers and the Volunteers that made the day run as well as it could have. Especially for all those that slaved away in the heat on friday setting everything up for it to be wet on Saturday. Mega Wang was good fun as the Navigator, but the time penalty for running it and the Long Wang would be massive if you had a typical SAU DECA field running on it; loose 1 minute/1 long wang run each driver run. It would work well as a replacement for Long + Mini and as a Long Wang replacement when it gets stupidly wet (far less chance of anyone having an expensive accident). To those DECA organisers who are hanging up their competitor hats for the next year, thank-you for your dedication and for setting a very high bar for driver/organisers, lets hope some others can step up the competition to keep the Championship battles tight. What's this about losing the results, did a Red Toyboata win an SAU event again ...
  21. Hope you boys had fun, here's a couple of pics one of my mates Shaun took during sundays event. All his pics can be found here; https://picasaweb.google.com/110905674765005152598/Z1111PIARCSprints?authkey=Gv1sRgCM_h0eO49tj1vgE# or here
