Hi Guys, Well the unthinkable finally happened, Some bastard hit the skyline while it was parked in a street and i was at work, no note or nothing left. Makes me think though because the way the door mirror was smashed into the side of my door, they must have been on the wrong side of the road. Anyways the mirror is cactus and the door is scuffed where the mirror hit it. Does anyone know roughly how much drivers side mirrors cost, and where i could pick one up in melbourne Cheers Stu

Yeah I already got planned what i want, (in the first post of the thread) now im just looking for the best place to buy it... Any ideas SXY R33?? I looked up Garys car radio in the Melways and its far away, will probably call for a quote to avoid disappointment if i drive all that way. Has any one dealth with central car radio on nepean highway, there the only other place i know of that stocks boston acoustics..

I personally wouldnt bother... Using an rb26 plenum would have an impact the a/f ratios of the rear cylinders due to uneven airflow causing them to run richer. Also the larger plenum can increase turbo lag, plus you dont need a huge plenum, your turbo should spool fast enough to not need a huge plenum. There are skylines out there making more power using the standard inlet manifold. I'd save my money for a mod that would give a greater benefit.

Hey peoples. I just got my 93 r33 gts-t for chrissy. Since i got it i have developed a squeel that seems to be coming from the turbo area. It only happens when its on full boost, just past three quarters on the standard boost guage and im revving hard. It also sometimes hits a wall at around 4000 - 5000 rpm like its hit a fuel cut or something, but it only sometimes does this mainly in 2nd and 3rd... I have seen a cloud of black smoke in my mirror once while overtaking doing about 5000 rpm at 120 in 3rd... Any ideas? also one more questions, what do mechanics alter when they do a tune on your engine??? Thanks heaps guys Stu

Thanks guys. I went and scoped out JB hifi today and sought of chose what i want. Im gonna go pioneer deck, front 6 inch splits, rear 6 x 9's and a 12 inch sub in the boot. im thinking of using velco (spelling) to keep the box from sliding, i read that on another thread, i thought it was a cool idea

Nah havent seen the deck yet. I measured the back parcel shelf. 10 inch = about 25 cm i think and i can fit a 25 cm circle on the shelf. I dont know about depth though, havent looked under the shelf. I think depth was about 13.5cm. Is there such a thing as an 8 inch sub?

Hey Guys n Girls Im going to take out the very average stock system from my R33 and am looking for suggestions on what to fill the space with. I dont wanna spend heaps so im not looking for the biggest and the best. I am thinking. Head unit - Pioneer / JVC Font speakers - 6 1/2 inch splits Rear Shelf - 2 x 10 inch subs or 8 inch if they are available Amp - not really sure, maybe 4 channel not sure on wattage Does this mix sound like it will work well? I will reinforce the parcelshelf with mdf or ply. Any suggestions are welcome cos i know nothing really about stereos. :D :D

I just got a '93 GTS-T and am starting to think about a stereo, i know the standard 10 stackers not great but i kinda want to keep it, can an amp be connected to the standard head unit? Taa Stu:p :shake:

I just bought an R33 skyline, and when you drive once you go over 25 k/H the passenger door locks and wont reopen when i slow down or stop, its pretty annoying, does anyone know how to stop it? Thanks STU
