  1. thanks frankie..glad your impressed...i didnt want to brag to much here as they came here to tune my car..which isnt quite ready so i can't really quote from experience..the best indication is from his customers say... funkymokey: i think there is more to it that just coping the cable...the software alone can't just be bought by any one..you must be qualified and then after that its over $10kAUD. then investment in a lamba o2 sensor..over $1500. then knock sensor then tune... and to think the NZ software haven't already tried to copy it..are u crazy? its prob just left to the professionals..im sure any one who drives a turbo car can afford it and its probably the best investment from your car money could buy...and at more than half the price of any of there competitors here who have the geniene raw deal..why not.
  2. dont you watch the ads after big brother up late... i have..

  4. no way he was owned...drag racing is all about getting the quickest times possible within 400m. be it bush bearing/plain bearing/or ball bearing...im sure if one was faster out of them all then...these VL's would have no problem coughing up some extra dough, boy if its going to get them there quicker...then sif half the guys at the top wouldn't had already tried it...and if what he claims is correct and they still use bush then obviously there has to be an advantage....i dont think anyone would really mind about the time it takes to spool up..cause at the end of the day..there still at the top..right? so of cause it is still a 9second car.
  5. ahh dont like the sound of that...on a 200,000km+ car...damn...im sure it would be quite spectacular fireworks display for the crowd though : :flamed:

  7. how can you say something like this? I dont know how possible you could say all the quick VL's in Australia use non roller beaing turbos? its like saying that all SAU members uses nothing but ball bearing turbos. Dont you think if what your saying about spooling times being non-existent if they used roller bearing turbos, they would have done it a long time ago? Sorry but i find what your saying very hard to beleive.. apon doing a google search, first on the list was this http://www.fullboost.com.au/cars/featureca...003/vl_vas.html runs a Garrett TA45 which is in newer terms a GT45?? as per http://www.capa.com.au/prices_turbo.htm (about 1/4 down the list) Ball Bearing Turbos Garrett GT42 Ball Bearing Turbo (TA45 - TA51) Fr. $4,070.00
