Does any one know if the R33 GTST sensors (NGK or other brand replacement) work on a GTR ive been trying to find a cheaper option than going to Nissan and no other retailers supply O2 Sensor for the GTR.
^^^ I got quoted $203 and $213 for the 2 sensors i need for the GTR
Im interested to know about the sr20 sensors i might have a look at my mates s15 and see
Good luck and if you find somewhere let me know, ive been trying to get 2 sensors for my GTR to no avail. The only place that has them new that i have found with them new is Nissan and they charge a premium.
They are illegal in any colour to have the on while driving cause they cause distractions to other motorists.
Why do u think they label them on the packets for "off road use only"
Hi i would like to be added to the list, i should have the money available in a couple of days.
Car: R33 GTR standard bumper
Suburb: Morphett Vale SA 5162
i might try and join the cruise on the move down south more since i dont want to have to back track, but i will see if the funds allow for the petrol (a full tank since the oxygen sensors are stuffed) i hope to be there
I had a look where the o2 sensors are located and they dont seem to be in a very difficult place i dont think it would be too hard with the tool mentioned above and some WD40. I just dont know whether to get aftermarket sensor or OEM ones.
When u say tube socket do u mean a socket like the one for removing spark plug or another type. How hard are they to get to? can u come in from the engine bay or do u have to go from underneath ie take of the exhaust etc?
Cheers again, i didnt think it would be hard i have done DIY things before on my old car and friends cars but have not worked on a RB26 before. Thanks for that site too
