Does anybody know where i can get the main dash lights which illuminate the speedo/tacho and indicator repeaters.
-
Recently had a battery failure on my M35 and after an unsuccessful attempt at jump starting when a new battery was fitted i found my speedo/tacho dash light wasn't working, neither are my indicator repeaters in the same dash, the reversing light audible warning is not working as is the door open with ignition key in audible warning also not working. Ivé checked all fuses in the 3 fuse boxes finding one blown which made no difference when replaced, has anybody got any suggestions as to what the problem could be as i'm no auto electrician.

My M35 has recently developed an issue where oil residue is accumulating at the bottom of the pipe that goes from the intercooler up to the inlet manifold and when you stop a strong smell of oil comes in the cabin. I've pulled the intercooler and associated pipes off and cleaned inside them and checked all hose fittings the only one that i have not removed is the plastic pipe that runs up to the the manifold as it's difficult to get at the securing bolt without dismantling half the car. Could that pipe be split or does anybody have any other suggestions, the car has done 168.000 klms and has lost no performance.

Airbag Flashing Light Codes
gerry whtie replied to gerry whtie's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Standard factory cloth seats Phil and all the plugs look to be ok but thanks for the offer of the seats will keep it in mind, really pisses me off that Nissan can build such a good car then stuff things up like this silly bloody airbag issue. -
Airbag Flashing Light Codes

Scott those numbers came up when Matty scanned the car, he,s previously had issues with airbag lights on different brands which have been bad connections, an item in the steering wheel and various others all a lot cheaper than new seats/belts -

Sorry should have said 2002 m35 which has 150,000 klms on it with no issues apart from the airbag light -
Having the usual airbag light issue and cannot now cancel it by the ignition key method, had a diagnostic on it and the code B1161 CRD RH open was in history. Chris Rogers is saying new seat belts at $600 + each is the solution can anybody offer an alternative solution.

Thanks Ian for info, think earth is ok as main beam works so will look at that 3rd fuse box. Chris Rogers did the lights so thinking it,ll be a good job
-
My nearside dipped beam doesn,t work but the main beam does, I,ve put in new globes without success and there is no power to the dip beam terminal. I,ve checked all the fuses near the pedal box and all seem ok also the ones near the battery which are fine so 3 questions Do the dip and main lights have seperate fuses for each one Is there a fusebox i,ve missed Does anybody know which fuses are for the h/lights I,m guessing a wire has become disconnected where they were joined at compliance but can,t get hold of Chris Rogers who did the electrics for ADR
-
Thanks everybody for your suggestions to my loss of performance but checked everything this morning and all looked ok so took it for a test run and it seems fine so we,ll see, shame really as it would have been a good excuse to get some more horsepower.
-
Chris car runs factory boost so I,ll try again in the morning to see if it was a computer glitch if not back to head scratching or trip to Gold Coast to see specialist.

Daniel will have a good look tomorrow problem being can,t see damn all around the v donks. Car seemed ok this morning it was when I was going to give a mitsoshitty lancer a seeing to that I realised lack of go, so yes happen suddenly.
-
Coming home from work the M35 seemed sluggish and the boost gauge was reluctant to go to full boost. Theres no smoke being blown and no noises and when free revved the gauge only goes to its middle position, the engine is completely standard, ideas please.

I was told by the dealer I purchased my RS4 from that syncro mode started the car in 2nd gear to limit wheelspin due to high revs/low gear?
-
Congratulations on your purchase you,ll get a lot of satisfaction out of the car and also have something a little different to the run of the mill motors. The syncro button is for locking it in 4wd, perhaps you,ll be able to try it out in the snow, good luck with your Stag.
-
I have done both and whilst my first Stag never gave me any problems, it was bought locally, it later became obvious that it had been clocked quite substanially. I bought my NM35 from a Japanese auction house through an agent and at least knew that the mileage was genuine. When I was looking for several weeks many Stags came up which were too expensive for me and now knowing what the cost of importing is I wonder what dealers are paying for Stags or where they are buying them from to be able to offer them so cheaply. During my search I was warned away from certain areas in Japan to look for cars due to several different reasons so I suppose in the end you pays your money you take your chances either locally or offshore, anyway good luck I hope you find what your looking for

Mike I realise the forum is not the place to sell cars hence the lack of price and detail but on the other hand if people are aware its for sale then they can go on e-bay and pursue it. I have seen similar threads recently with specific details as to where the car can be viewed and no objection was raised.I have gained much valueable information from the forum over the time I have subcribed to it and would not in any way use it for anything else that what it was intended for, hope this clears up any misunderstanding of my motives

I,ve got to sell my NM35 after waiting months for it to come from Japan as I have to many cars and its not getting used. Its a 2002 250tRS with factory bodykit and Nismo shocks and springs. Hopefully it will be on e-bay in the next couple of days if I can get the bloody photos to upload so If anybody knows someone who,s looking for a nice cheap NM35 tell them please
