My RS4 did the same and the fluid level was good so I treated it to some power steering seal re-conditioner from S/cheap problem solved, a change to a good fluid as suggested by iamhe77 will probably do the same
-
Have to agree with Garett on this one as have the same suspension on the m35. Had an R33 which was really low with Tein shocks and apart from h/ways any other road would loosen your fillings in the end sold the car couldn,t stand it.
-
Hugh if you don,t have any joy at S/cheap there is a mob on the Gold Coast who service the marine industry and they re-gas struts at a reasonable price, should be able to find them in Yellow Pages.

My nm35 has a dimple each side of the tailgate about level with the bottom of the number plate recess, does anybody else have these as it seems strange that Nissan would produce a car with this cosmetic blemish.

No scott the turbo is doing everything right but as the car has done 115,000ks its always in the back of your mind, but the previous owner appears to have kept the car fully serviced so lets hope it,ll last for a good while yet, hope I haven,t jinked myself.

Stephen I thought I read somewhere that in Japan with the m35s changing turbo,s at 100,000ks is like changing cambelts in the RS4, its done as a precaution, can anybody comment. Also who is the best person in Qld to go to if the turbo does shit itself as I live out in the sticks, again info from anyone. Cheers Gerry

Andy one problem with the english conversion its called money and theres not alot around at the moment. Actually I,ve just gotten onto a Japanese translator locally as I have the full Japanese service history with the car and want to find out if the turbo has been changed, but thanks for your suggestion I,ll try and sort it tomorrow. Thanks Gerry

My nm35s pop up screen has started to turn off after a 1min or so after I put up the fuel useage function which is then followed by a black screen and some Japanese writing, has anybody got any idea whats happening and how it can be overcome.

Thanks Steve spoke to the wife and she,s not real keen but the dog is showing interest

On my unconverted pop-up screen on the m35 I,m getting the word PIT in white letters on a green background, can anyone tell me what it means. I,ve just done an oil change and wonder if it related to this.

I found the easiest way to the back of the light unit is to use an hacksaw blade and cut away the f/glass moulding which blocks you getting your hand down to the lights. It doesn,t destoy the structural integretity of the moulding and certainly stops a lot of swearing, just saw between the excisting holes and clean up the edges with a file, makes life oh so easy.

Looking Into Purchasing An M35
gerry whtie replied to 3PointJ's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Chris you are making an excellent choice of car, as for turbo longevity use the best oil and change regularly. Be careful on mileage speedo readings as I know that some cars are clocked so a good look at the usual wear points both in and out of the car is adviseable. Good luck on your search -
Chris after our phone conversation i pulled the front off, cleaned out the intercooler while i had the opportunity but could see nothing that resembled the ballasts so I,ll take you up on your offer as and when I come your way. Thanks Gerry

So where did uncle Adolf drop bombs on you Hugh, not the dear old motherland?
-
Can you be more specific as to the kit you got from e-bay as that sounds like the go. Cheers

Andy the xenons were never put back in. I know about the internal adjuster but it doesn,t improve the situation to any significant degree. Last night I drove my 02 Falcon ute down some back roads and its lights piss all over the m35s so I think further investigation is needed. Does anybody else have issues with their h/lights
-
Can anybody confirm that the plastic hex hd adjuster alters the light beam across the road and the metal hex hd adjuster alters where the beam strikes the road in front of the car or have I got it totally ballsed up and there is some other form of adjustment. Apart from going xenon has anybody come across good bulb replacements as they all claim to be the best as my h/lights are piss poor for fast night driving. Thanks

I agree with you Hugh and have done mine, makes other owners in your area aware of your exsistence. Any Stag owners in the Stanthorpe/Warwick area?

Long Distance Towing With A Stagea Rs4
gerry whtie replied to 910trx's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Daniel I towed my Anglia racecar behind my Rs4 for 21/2yrs never bothered with a trans oil cooler and just left it in overdrive and never had a spot of bother, used shit loads of fuel though, as for towing a 6+4 trailer wouldn,t even worry about it just drive and forget it -
That,ll be right, last cruise the Stag was still in compliance this one I move out to our property the day before and its to far to come back for. Anyone know any Stag owners in the Warwick/Stanthorpe area

Took the m35 to Chris Rogers in Brisbane today to get a new radio fitted and sort out my non functioning reversing camera and after watching him pull the dash to pieces and half the internal fittings of the car there is no-way I would bother to attempt doing this myself considering what he charged me, I would certainly reccomend his services to anybody wanting electrical work doing to their import, thanks Chris.

Cameron I took delivery of an m35 two weeks ago which is dark blue has bodykit and Nismo springs and shocks. I live in the Upper Coomera region and I,m like you at the moment still finding my way around the cars electrics but hopefully a visit to Chris Rogers on Wed should get a few answers to its mysterious. Enjoy your car they certainly grow on you
