    hey lyndon, its shouldnt be too hard to get a good box of this sort with an extended warranty. Have you thought of going to the RB25DET gearbox? I am part way through doing the conversion and there is not much to it, nearly everything bolts up fine. They are also heaps stronger than the RB20DET. The downside is they cost around $1500

    i am in the middle of the same gearbox convert. All boxes seem to be from $1500 to $2000. The yolks as far as i know can be blended with the standard uni. I have a friend who did this convert and thats what he did and it seemed to work. Not 100% sure but thats what he said.

    or maybe you can help me out with some good shops to call about getting a good one at the right price. For eg. Where you got yours from?, thanks, i just really want my car to move again....

    Hey Everyone, I am wanting to buy a RB25DET gearbox on this coming Monday if one comes up at the right price i will be paying cash for it. Must come with at least a start up warranty and a front yolk. Looking at Brisbane, Sunny Coast or Gold Coast area. Thanks

    i have a friend with a r31 with a similar kind of idea. He kept his 3ltr bottom end and just went to a rb25 head, he did internals, turbo, cooler, computer and all the other normal stuff and his car makes 477hp at 14psi, and they told him depending on tyres and stuff his engine would be good for 11's, dunno how true that is but his car is pretty fast

    Thanks for that, Hey RB30-POWER are they the actual boxes? How much app. should the turbo box weigh?????????????????????????????

    hey, if you look around you should be able to get a bit cheaper than that, i just paid 1000 with a tailshaft to go into a r32, just have to find the right person, i thought that was pretty cheap

    hahaha, thanks to those who helped! The people that were there at the time can agree on how I broke it and it wasn't doing a "Fully Sik Skid". Decided to take WHITE R32's advice because its not how i broke it, its how to fix it.

    thanks, i have a guy who I kinda know that put a rb25 in his 32. He seems to know what he is talking about so I think that mite be the way to go. I have a 5 puck sprung os giken extreme clutch so it would be a bit nasty on the box too. Apparently you have to shorten your tailshaft and change the speedo gear so the speedo reads rite? dunno, stupid gearbox.

    hey, I have an 1993 R32 GTST and just blew a box. I have heard that rb20 boxes arnt much good and to go for an rb25 box. I have heard its a bit dearer and harder to do but is it worth it? has anyone else done this transfer and had good results? My car makes 345rwhp so it has to handle that, thanks
