  1. easiest way is to remove spark plugs, unplug ignitor pack, then prime the fuel pump, if you can see fuel in any of the cylinders you have a leak. now it could be either the injector itself or is could be one of the o-ring's that seals then into the fuel rail.
  2. i'm on the southside also, i live in the redlands area i also work in the city
  3. i think the tail light is slightly different in size, where abouts in brisbane are you i might be able to drop it off, or you can pick up
  4. it sounds like you might have a leaky injector hence the running really rich, i cant say i have seen white smoke from fuel but it may be possible that the plugs are not burning it all and is getting onto your turbo and doing something odd with the seals, i had this problem with a silvia a few years ago.
  5. to me it sounds like a turbo gasket leak
  6. hahahaha drilled him far in the head

  9. hey Guys i have done a bit of a search but haven't had much luck to let you know the clutch that is in the car came with the car from japan, however i have replaced the master and slave cylinders about 4 months ago with nissasn genuine. To start off with when the car is cold to when the car is hot i have a different pick up point with the clutch, now i know it has been bleed properly so unless the fluid itself is expanding with heat it is not that. But this is not the problem (however thought is might help) the problem is once the car gets hot and has been driven for about 5-10ks after hot, i get this grinding in the pedel, after having a look at it tongiht i cant feel anything in either the slave or the master cyclinder, however i can hear a clunking sounds coming from the gearbox. at this stage i'm thinking clutch forks, however i know the throw out bearing is making noise when engaging and disengaging so not 100% sure if a dead throw out bearing could do this, but it will make the noise even when the engine is not running. if you guys have any ideas please let me know Cheers
  10. I have found the guys at bridgstone at cleveland are good, if you tell them what you use the car for they seem to make the right changes
  11. glad to see you have your car sorted and you now have a tuner you can trust, when it comes to workshops it is always a touchy subject, i have been to my far share and i find all of them have bad stories and they all make mistakes, to me it is way they deal with them that sets them apart, however i have also found that the more the owner knows about the car the better the results seems to be.

  13. put a 3" resonantor in there it will help
  14. to answer your question no, the turbo you have has an internal type wastegate. do a search on google for wastegates you will find all the info you need
  15. hmmm could be ignitor, might give a spark but maybe not enough to light up the fuel?
  16. with the lines i think slide will do them for you if you take them in with the turbo.
  17. what mods do you have??? if the car hasn't been started it could be dead fuel pressure regulator, very dirty injectors or and o-ring on a injector is starting to leak
  18. i had to do this with a set of rims i used windscreen sealant, but it is a pain in the ass job to do you have to strip the trye, dismantle the rim and clean all of the exsisting sealant off, the rim needs to be perfectly clean otherwise it will leak again, the truck i found was not to use huge amounts of sealent, after two attempts i got it to seal nicely
  19. does the car feel good when say on the freeway when moving, but then bad when sitting at lights and slow speeds? also i would check to make sure you ignitor earth is nice and tight.
  20. there is no real way apart from what the guys have said but i wouldn't recommend running the pump without fuel
  21. the standard ecu wont self learn all it will do is run the car rich as it will see more airflow so then add even more fuel and also start to pull back the timing.
