  1. as the others have said the safc is a piggy back computer, it wont give you the same tune a a remap, however i dont think the total would cost as much, in saying that if you have the $$$ get the ecu re-mapped it is worth the extra dollars in the end
  2. before you go buying another pump i would check to make sure that it is in right, sounds like you have the + and - round the wrong way. also check the ground to make sure it is all good
  3. i would get yourself and safc, it will give you some degree of tunning and go and see pete from pro torque
  4. to be honest that doesn't sounds that bad, the extra stuff is what you asked for so he can charge you for it, i would suggest learning how to do some of this stuff yourself it isn't hard and will save you alot of $$$
  5. I have a profec e01 in my car realy happy with it easy to set up and install and boost doesn't spike at all.
  6. yup i recon 200rwkw shouldn't be a problem, i know a number of cars making 170-180 rwkw with a stock rb25 turbo. what boost controller are you going to run?
  7. no problems if you have any issues let me know.
  8. hey all just wondering if your solinoide for your profec makes a ticking sound when bleeding air??
  9. yup it is only the ignition and injector pinouts that are different, it is a pece of cake to do and you should be able to do it at home takes about 10mins to change around this is the diagram for the ecu pinouts http://www.mohdparts.com/emanage/manuals/j...ual_main/36.JPG to check you rotary switch's http://www.mohdparts.com/emanage/manuals/j...ual_main/35.JPG injector signal to the main unit http://www.mohdparts.com/emanage/manuals/e..._manual/008.JPG ignition information http://www.mohdparts.com/emanage/manuals/e..._manual/010.JPG
  10. hey mate i dont think they make a loom for the rb20 they all seem to be for the GTR i did exacly the same thing ordered for the rb20 but got the n-4 loom, so what i ended up doing was changing the wires over, from memory it is just the ignition and injectors that you need to change and it is just the order that needs to change, what i did was grab the rb26 pinout from greedy and compared that with the rb20, and also used the ignition and injector diagrams from the manual. i cant remember the exact wires it was but i know it was only 8 that needed changing and was easy enough to change. dont touch the AFM the right one is already, power earth and throttle are also right. once you have done that there are a few paramaters that need to be set on the emanage and it should be right to start up. if you get stuck let me know as i have just setup my emanage on my r32 and have everything running.
  11. if you are getting a clicking it could be a back earth for the battery. i would also try what other have suggested
  12. was the car kicking over??? or just nothing?? or does it start then die?? i would check simple things like the ground on the ignitor may have come loose, cooler piping may have come loose,
  13. go to pro torque, pete seems to know his stuff with the emanage
  14. it all points to a bad tune however faulty software will do the same, if you get it back and it still has the problems i would look at some other tuners
  15. that isn't too bad i think the last lot i got was around 20
  16. sounds like all other 33's
  17. www.nengun.com that is where i got mine however it was for the blue emanage
  18. i got my last lot from tyre zone at capalaba on redland bay road, if not i know bob jane at taringa have them also

Hi All i have been using the forums for a little while so i thought i would introduce myself Name: Chris Location: wellington Point Car: 32 4door skyline if you see me around say hi, i dont drive the car all that often i'm setting it up to be mainly a track car.
  20. i wouldn't recomend re-using it, it can be done but i think you will end up with more dramas than what it is worth
  21. as the others have said re-gp your plugs to .8, and while your at it just make sure they are not sutffed, if that doesn't work then look at coil packs as these things fail all the time on RB's (personally i would just grab some splitfire coil packs) do the simple things first and also make sure all your cooler piping is tight
  22. i could be wrong but the outlet for the turbo in the ferrari on right doesn't look like it goes anywhere
