    what colour is the smoke, you say it doesn't start straight away if the smoke is black then it is just unburnt fuel from trying to kick over

    it could also be the turbo gasket starting to leak, i would check to make sure all bolts on the turbo are tight, once the turbo starts sound like a super charger then you have issues

    i would say check you afm and also have a look at your throttle body and make sure there isn't a heap of crap in there

    the r32 coilovers will fit up fine just make sure you dont get the gtr ones. there is no problem with 4 stud however if you want to change to five stud all you have to do is buy the 5 stud skyline hubs. i would spend the money on a good lsd makes a big difference, i would also get solid cradle bushes, with the de engine you will need all the suspension help you can get, i would also get some urathane caster bushes.

    it would say it is the standard coil pack then as stated before pull the spark plugs out and have look at them one of them will be very black. there is another possiblilty if not the coil pack it could be that under load i.e. above 16psi you might have an injector which is a bit leaky and you are getting too much fuel in one cyclinder, do you have an aftermarket fuel reg?

    hmmm strange the only things i could think it would be are fuel pump or spark plugs, what type of spark plugs are you running?

    i think they are set to the same boost level as the r33 ones, if you want to get another actuator and cant find an r32 one you can get them new from garret and they aren't all that dear

    your friend can try the small claims court, it only cost $5 and there are no lawyers. however a verbal contract is very hard to prove, if your friend had made a despoit on the car then he would have a stronger case.

    i agree with sky031 about going to another machanic. on top of what craig as said about throttle body cleaning i woudl also have a look at the AFM i have had these affect the idle of cars before

    your car should be ok with the temps the way they are, however dont go for long trips of highway driving and try not to get stuck in traffic. if you are getting it fixed on insurance ask the insurance company who they use and get quotes from them, also look for a place that gives you a warrenty on their work

    sounds like the manifold to turbo gasket has gone or you have a loose elbow coming off the turbo.

    it sounds like something is heating up and you are getting a vacume leak i.e. a rubber joiner when heating opens a small hole and when the heat goes out it seals up again.

    if you go for an intank pump there are plenty of options walbro are cheap and i have had good experiences with them also bosch 040 and 044 are good pumps. i wouldn't bother with another stock one i dont know many people who haven't modded their car. as to what it will do to driving the car providing the pump is installed properly it wont affect the car
