if the car is running fine i wouldn't bother, but if there is a dyno day near you (and you are worried about the car) put it on to check air/fuel ratios it would be the cheapeast way to do it

the other thing to look at would be your fuel pump

actuators can stuff up they can either get stuck shut or they become loose over time and dont hold boost. the easy way to check for this is when the actuator is off the turbo pull on the rod, if it is very easy to move them more than likley it wont hold boost.
