Go the manual conversion, you'll get a power increase anyway. The driveline power loss on a manual is a fair bit less than an auto and you'll get better fuel economy as well (right foot depending)

Hey Ppls My stainless exhaust manifold has developed a 1.5 - 2cm crack were the runners join at the turbo flange, so I am weighing up my options and was thinking of buying a HKS cast iron manifold to replace it with. My problem being is that my turbo (T3/04B) has an internal gate so I was thinking of using a steel plate and some exhaust sealer to block off the external wastgate outlet on the manifold. Do you think this will work and would it have and adverse effect on the flow of the manifold? Thanks Fiddy

Sammie, Dude not being harsh just honest we all own lines and know the costs involved especially if you start modding it. I agree with Rhianne a youngin in any big powerful car is scary but it's your choice and you've already made it just please be careful and respect your life and others. Don't ever be fooled into thinking you have something to prove when some retard tries to egg you on. Well, if he doesn't I guess we'll see the car up in the For Sale section explaining how he's selling his R32 because: 1. Wrecked it trying to drift to impress his mates/girls but didn't get insurance becase it was like $3k a year with a 1.5K excess. OR 2. Simply got sick of forking out all his hard earned cash on fuel, loan repayment, insurance, tyres, maintenance etc etc. I hope he listens, as I think we all know what we are talking about.

I received a letter today from HBF my insurance company that reads as follows; Your Comprehensive policy is due for renewal on 18/12/05. Establishing the value if imported vehicles is often difficult and to overcome this our underwriting guidelines, require a current valuation certificate for all vehicles imported into Australia. Please arrange to have your vehicle valued by an independent aurthorised valuer and forwrd a copy of this valuation to us. Unfortunately this valuation must be at your expense. Once this valuation is received, we will issue an invitation to renew the policy. So is anybody out there a "Independent aurthorised valuer." Please help. You would think at my age insurance would be a piece of piss but no, this has got to be boardering on discrimination......I'm sure they would send this letter out to someone who owns a Astra, Pulsar, BWM, Volvo, Merc, Hyundia, Daewoo etc etc ....after all they are "IMPORTED" <_<

Why do ppl who live in the northern burbs always feel the need to bag the southern burbs???? Some kinda complex issues? Perth is Perth north or south they both have their good and questionable areas. Freo is a bit pricey if you ask me. try lookin at the suburbs just around freo like Melville, Palmyra, Bicton, Attadale, Booragoon and Winthrop These suburbs area closer to the strip rather than the track. Hope you find a house in an area that is to your liking. Cheers
