Aznbongsta, I was thinking about doing the exact same mods to that bar from ebay, looks great now that i see the mods done. did you have to open up the blinker holes to get them to sit in there also? it doesnt look like they would fit unless you open up the hole... any more pics of it from the front? also, is it two piece or one piece? i looks like you have some string holding the lip together with the bar?

Hi I have for sale a used Nismo Gmax twin plate pull clutch which needs a rebuild. It is the silver cover, not red cover. Rebuild would cost about $800-$1200 depending on who you go to. maybe try NPC clutch for quote. Car is now gone, and its just sitting in the garage. The clutch comes with the thrust bearing also. All the parts that make up the clutch are: Pressure plate 2 clutch disc plates Centre plate Nismo flywheel Special Nismo flywheel bolts Special Nismo flywheel springs Pressure plate bolts Pickup from Melbourne can be arranged. Pics will be up shortly. $500 ono cheers, Michael

i have R34 GT-T and on the npc site, the 5puk clutch seems to be $1023 (it says R34 GTR, but it has RB25DET in the line, so im assuming its the GTT clutch) just want to double check the price, that its only $100 more over the push type r33 clutch ($650)? decent saving considering i was looking at buying the exedy 5 puck hd clutch from sliding performance at $739 dollars..

Hi guys, This car was imported from Japan, and is the Spec-R turbo model. i have owned it for 2 years and it is a stunning car to drive, in excellent condition in/out. its a sad sale but the car must be sold. It is in its factory condition apart from an aftermarket 3" exhaust system from turbo back (includes 3" SPLIT dump & front pipe in 1). It has been serviced regularly with A grade products and is always garaged at home and at work. Only serious buyers please, no trades. Unreasonable offers will be ignored. $24,900 ono Located in Sydney. Contact Filip on: 0415885529 0298702155 Photos can be seen in the carsales ad link below: Carsales Ad Please try & avoid using PMs, as this is my brothers account and it might take longer for me to respond. Thanks

Hi guys, Need to sell my weekend car as im looking to upgrade my wife's car to a 2000 or newer BMW (318i/320i or similar). If you have one of these or similar BMW and want to trade, let me know, otherwise no other trades please. This car's body & engine are in great condition. It comes with 11 months rego. It was imported as a grade 3.5. The kms are genuine and the log books also came with the car. According to my mechanic the timing belt seems to have been changed only a few thousand kms ago. Its just been serviced, so the car won't need a service for another 5000km. The car has minor modifications which include a 3.5" HKS Super Dragger cat-back exhaust (fairly quiet), aftermarket 2.5" into 3" front pipes, HKS pod filters and 17" Advan wheels. I am happy for any inspections to be made on the vehicle. The first genuine buyer looking for a clean example of an R32 GTR in this seemingly rare silver colour will buy it & will be very happy! All REASONABLE offers will be considered. Please, no time wasters. Price has been reduced to $21500 ono.

all the japanese vin numbers are stamped, so the numbers/letters will have grooves in them, it wont be 'smooth' when you put your fingers over them if thats what you mean, you will feel the grooves... it would be also done by a machine, so if they look a bit dodgy thats a different story. i highly doubt you have anything to worry about, as cars are most likely to be stolen and re-badged here than in Japan and you also bought it from a car yard.

Hi All Does anyone have these wheels with good tread for taking the car to vic roads and back? They need to be 16", with 225/50 tyres. Or if you have R32 GTR wheels without tyres, i will take those & put tyres on myself. cheers, Michael

as DECIM8 mentioned, R34 GTT headlights are made for Xenon. Beside this though, HID kits run on 35W instead of 55W or more, so you wont have any issues with heat, as they are not as hot as filament bulbs. If you can get your hands on the stock Xenons, this would be the best bet, as the R34 headlight optics are designed for the D2R Xenon bulbs not the H1 filament bulbs that they put in with compliance. If its too much trouble to get the factory xenons put back, then you would want to stay away from colours higher than 6000K, as the higher you go the less bright it is and it gets too blue/purple and you will be a magnet for cops. The 6000K colour seems to be the most prefered for people as its a white light with a tinge of blue. If you go lower in K, like 4100K-4500K, this is what the R34 originally has, and even the BMW, Audi, S2000 etc, and the light is pure white with no blue. The reason you see blue/purple at certain times on the Audi or BMW cars with factory Xenons is because of the projector lens. The light isnt purple/blue, but white (around 4100K-4300K). It only looks blue/purple on the edges of the projection of light, and so thats why when its far away and the edge of the beam passes your line of sight, it looks purple/blue, but when the car comes up close the light is white. You wont be able to get this effect with the R34 as it doesnt use projector lights, it uses reflectors. Also, not all projector lens give out that blue/purple look at the edge of the light projection. cheers

Hi Guys For anyone that has changed or looked at a timing belt on rb26, are you able to check the condition of the timing belt quickly by taking off a few parts or is it a huge job? i dont want to change it yet but im curious on whether its been changed or not as car has 93K. If a check can be done quickly, can you please let me know which parts need to come off? Thanks, Michael

Group buy 4 is now in the GB section (http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=152367), so please confirm your interest if you have done so here, and confirm which parts you want along with which car its for. SS8_Gohan, the heat shield needs to be taken off in all of the cars, not just r34 gtt 4door, but many modify it and then put it back on. cheers

hayden49, yes they are built into the pipe, this is why we call it a 'dump & front pipe in one'. the dump area is smaller in size because you cannot fit 3" piping directly onto the turbo flange. you will notice that even HKS's split dump isnt 3" as there just isnt enough room when its a split/twin dump.. MsG_ChRiS, i will pm you shortly cheers

mspek, im not sure what you mean about being worried? If you are talking about the magic cat flow rates shown in that article, as you can see they were measured with the magic cat not having any cone reducers welded on it to make the piping 3". the magic cat is basically a 4" pipe with a metal substrate inside it and this is how it was flow tested. of course it will measure more flow than a 3" piped cat of any type. the catco 5" body cat with 4" piping welded to it (so this way it has the same in and out diammeters as the magic cat which was flow tested in that article) flows at 1015CFM! ...not at 750cfm like the magic cat. also i noticed it said in there 'catco supercat', this is a misprint, because catco has no 'supercat', the name supercat is a different brand altogether and those cats which were bench tested were all ceramic inside cats. if there was a catco cat tested, it would have been the large body ceramic inside cat, which flows in the high 400's cfm (which is maybe what that figure is "496cfm". i hope that clears things up for you, since it can get a bit misleading when they dont tell you much about what exactly they tested it against... cheers

Eug, you dont have to buy the pipe to get the cats at the GB prices. i can get 2.5" cats, but they wont be bolt on for skyline. by bolt on, it means the flanges are welded on already, so you can just install it yourself. there is a performance difference of about 30-40cfm. i dont have an exact figure on the small and large body ceramic cats, but the large body flows about 460-480cfm from memory. the delivery is included in the price, but if you want 2.5", it would be cheaper as it will also not be bolt on. pm me if you want a cat other than the ones offered in 3" or for any other Q's. cheers
