hi guys, ive got a used 3" mild steel catalytic converter pipe (for track use) for sale. its a quick bolt on/off with your CAT. It came off an R33 Skyline GTST, but im sure it will fit the R32 Skyline GTST also. Note: It is illegal NOT to have a CAT on your car unless you are on the track. $50 cheers

Hi guys, Just wondering whether a secondhand T3 VL turbo for $500 is worth the upgrade on my R33 GTST Series 2? As its supposed to bolt straight on, since R33's have T3 flanges but T28 turbos... Anyone know any stats on these turbos? Is it a worthwhile mod to get more hp than stock turbo? cheers

hey dj_lethal, about the exhaust, im not sure whether you've had this exhaust on your car or not, or whther you've seen it on a car before you took it off, but just 3 q's: 1) where the muffler is at the end, does it sit on an angle and point up a bit and out toward the left side? 2) does the exhaust fit nice and high toward the chasis of the car? its just that i hate exhausts that sit really low and scrape on every bump etc 3) have you heard how it sounds? very loud? deep? is it cop bait or not so loud? sorry about some of the difficult questions, but i am quite interested, as im after only a 3inch cat-back exhaust, since i can get my own dump/front pipes and cat (as you have also have bought from me). cheers dude

rev210, yeh i agree with you there, it is a cosmetic thing (or rice boy if you must!), but i am planning to 'chip' my stock ecu, and that way i can change my a/f ratios, it also cuts the 180km/h and a few other things. the way they will do this, by my guess, is by soldering an extra chip on the ecu. i think the chip is from chiptorque?? not 100%, but i am getting it done through a friend at a cheap price so i'll take it on the dyno with this bov and see how i go! cheers

THIS IS STRICTLY SPEAKING ABOUT THE HKS SS BOV... some of the theories said by the people here are proving to be wrong with R33NT's quote, but are rather related as a more generalised view on atmo venting bov. read the quote by R33NT, as i have read it before on a site somewhere, and im sure this information is very accurate about this particular product. manufacturers, i believe know about these problems that cars can have with the atmo bov, so maybe hks has fixed the problem with its new hks ss bov? anyways though, I know of a few cars with this bov, and they have never complained of stalling or car going..slower? my2c

enricopalazzo, i dont think you should find any problems with stalling with this particular bov that you would need the hks eids, since its excellent for low boost applications cheers

Ive had the pleasure to drive this 180SX, and it goes better than any of the other 20 or so customers 180's that we've had come in here at jappsport for compliance. dont know why that is, but it could be the very grippy clutch it has on it! This car is however an absolute steal at that price whoever buys it!! cheers
