thanks for all your help! turbomad, yeh i thought i might need it, since im sure i'll be running too rich, thanks sydneykid, really detailed mate, helps A LOT, thanks! edge, i was thinking at going to the place where benm took it(unigroup.com.au), bcoz he says they know their stuff and are very helpful, and there has been dyno days organised there from people of this forum. also by what benm said, they are good with their pricing too! predator666, my car is going to have all those things serviced definately, and have them serviced regularly too! the only thing im not sure about is the plug gap thing, is that on the spark plug at the front, where there is like an 'L shaped rod over the circle thingee' (lol), and you measure the gap in between them. (i didnt realise a mm difference in the gap can make such a difference?) thanks again guys!!

BATMBL replied to r32mspec's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
$240 for a stainless 3inch pipe, yeh right... the trade prices for those pipes are higher than that. you see people buying pipes for 400 etc, thats just too low for a decent stainless steel pipe me thinks.. my2c -

hey guys, If any1 wants to buy a front+dump pipe (one piece, like the picture above), let me know, because i can supply you with a mild steel 3 inch front+dump pipe for $260 for r32 & r33 skyline. If you want a stainless steel one, its $360. If someone want one for a 180sx or other let me know and i can quote you a price, i just have to call the guys that make it(CATCO). They also do 3 inch hi-flow cats (with flanges). If interested, I can buy you one for $160. I can ship interstate for a little extra. cheers -

What exactly does it mean when the bleed valve 'spikes'? What can it damage in the long run(is it a major problem)? How often do these spikes happen with bleed valves? Just asking bcoz i want to 'up my boost', but dont want to spend too much money on doing it, unless any1 knows which EBC is cheap yet good to buy/intstalled, and where. thanks in advance!

13.4 second 1/4 for your 'stockish' R33. (A how to guide).
BATMBL replied to rev210's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
apparently you can put 235 tyres on the stockies. i know you can put 225 tyres, coz we have a few cars here that have 225 tyres on the stock rims. any disadvantage of puting 235 on the stockies? i would say its a great idea! cheers -
that relay device sounds pretty good zahos. ...and i totally agree with you on the 'when you catch him' thing LOL cheers

you can tell from the vin plate when the car was built exactly. about the 'who should pay', well it'll have to be you in the end. you have to remember, you're not buying off a dealer, where you can tell him/her, oh i want to buy it, but can you fix this thing etc, you're really buying the car off the auctioneers. the guy you pay to (middleman), he simply is doing you a 'service' to get your car from japan to sydney, and a few other little things. its really up to you to inspect the vehicle by asking for photos to be sent to you etc in the end, its a bit of a gamble, since you're buying something you havent seen properly, so i doubt the middleman is going to pay for those cosmetic things'. cheers :burnout:

what is 'rice', 'rice boys', 'rice up' ur car?
BATMBL replied to BATMBL's topic in General Automotive Discussion
LOL @ whet rev210 said, very nicely put. cheers :burnout: -
exactly what ex-static said. We here are moving into the new RAWS scheme(very expensive!!!), and though we know most of the new procedures that need to take place, there are still some things in which issues have not been sorted out(since its not enforced yet and even the authorities dont know whats goin on). You can still import a car privately, but the compliance plates + paperwork are going to be quite high, which might turn some people off and they end up buying from either dealers or wholesalers like us. I dont think any1 would be STUPID enough to actually destroy these precious aftermarket items, but we would most probably ship them seperate or in a box in the car or something, and the purchaser of the vehicle can do whatever he/she pleases with them, coz afterall its their parts. However, this all costs money, you have to pay parts + labour to remove the parts, and if you're gona put them back on, labour again... thats my 2c of the whole thing, i think im about 100% right since i work for importers, and thats what is going around... cheers

FFS!!!! hey DentonR33, im getting a line just like yours, and although im from sydney, ive been go to melb often, and around that area too. cant believe the ignorance of these f.ucken cops. i would have done/said just what you did, and then to get canaried?? f.uck that. to some of these cops, being nice doesnt help, being rude, well you might as well say goodbye to your car.. i think you should report these f.ucks, so they are stuck in traffic duty or somethin, becuase some just dont belong on the road, pulling cars over for defects. btw, did you get both cops names and stuff, coz im sure you can request them(after all you pay their salary, they are supposed to SERVE you)...and also tell the officer in charge that they speed off unecessarily hehe well, good luck with it anyways dude! cheers :burnout:
