My English is not good enough for you. But there is reason L-jetro is much better than D-jetro. D-jetro is pressure measure that means for exsample same pressure tires, one is big truck tire and another is small car tire. Both of them are same pressure but air capacity of the tire is diffrent quantity. There are many logic which one is better and many people, even engineers told about it much. Some people said "Show me show me how do you prive it?" But all logic is so far and coming new always.

If you have proper size AFM for your terget power. L-jetro is nothing to lose I beleive. If you do not have it, you have to use D-jetro is much better. Max power is almost same both of them if suction of a air is same condition. Any ECU are same. But the measurement of the air suction is most important thing for the power and response of the engine. AFM is on time measure but D is after suction a air.

Apex turbo is made by IHI in Japan. The latest IHI turbo is PEP for GTR. That turbo is the best turbo I beleive because it has the oil film dumper system in centre section. That is the ball bearing system. There are some ball bearing system one is HKS (Garrett). That trurbo do not have the oil film system which reduce the shock. Therefore this ball bearing is easy to get damage and life is shorter than other turbo. It is common knowledge in engineers.

Mines Demo R34GTR is fast. But it is not for customers and set engine up is diffrent between Demo car and for customers. Mines has Demo R34GTR for street drive that is not such fast whatever they asid same engine. So, Mines R34GTR in race truck is special set up, engine set up, ECU set up too.

I think it is hard for S14 SR20DET in Australia. Tomei makes stage 2 ECU in Japan with 1.2kg/cm boost. It is usually come knocking with 98RON in summer.

From NISSAN engineer... each parts have diffrent rev for RB26 because that problem is for the cost. The crankshaft rev is about 7,800 rpm. Standard harmonic Balancer is same. The standard valve spring is about 8,300 rpm. But the valve guide is not strong enough for such rev. If you make the best clearance for the valve guide, that engine is no problem 8,300 rpm. When NISSAN raced with RB26 that the short distance race was 8,300 rpm rev (It was sometimes 8,800 rpm rev thouht). The Long distance race was 7,500 rpm rev.

Result for Back Pressure test. Type A and B cams are 2.0kg at 6,500 rpm. Type R is 1.9kg at 7,200 rpm. Result for Power check. Type A is 405.00ps at 7,500 rpm. Type B is 406.33ps at 7,500 rpm and Type R is 404.65ps at 7,500 rpm.

TOMEI type R Pon cam is for standard turbo or N1 turbo. But GT2530, T517Z even T78 is stil OK. TOMEI desinged it because Japan is getting hard for the emission in law. Pon cam type A and B make high back pressure for exhaust system with a catalizer whatever fitting sport catalizer to GTR. It means that make bad responce for the engine. Therefore, TOMEI reduce the angle and make new design suitable.

I give you some test data for the air filters in Japan. It is up to you believe or disbelieve. The fine dust test level 6 and 7. This test is shown the air filter that is possible how much catch the dust that 100g. NISSAN Geneuine air filter possible to catch 96 to 99.5% dust. HKS Power flow is 36 to 36%. Dry type air filter is 75 to 85%. Metal filetr type is 65 to 85%. M's filter (6 inchi type) is 94 to 96%. How much air possible to pass through the air filter? NISSAN genuine air filter is 380, HKS Power flow is 420, TRUST is 400, BLITZ is 450 and M's is 780. This result is shown in Japan about 13 years ago.

It is possible to rewirte a data to ROM if you have tools for. R32GTR is EP-ROM, R33GTR is H8/534 and R34GTR is H8/536. Also possible to rewrite a data for EP ROM with R33 and R34GTR ECU.

How do you set ECU up with NISMO AFM? -
It is covered about 400-450ps in Japan. But I do not know how much power for (KW) in Autsralia.

Consult function is involuved with standard ECU that is covered the egnine, HICAS, ABS even ATTESA system for GTR. A car with Power FC is not access with Consult as NISSAN. NISSAN genuine Consult also have the fuction that is as data logging, active test for all accutuators and sensores.

There are 3 or 4 types of N1 Oil pumps in second generation GTR, R34GTR N1 pump is the best of cause. The spring pressure is same between the standard and N1. The Oil pump regurator valve is worked at 7kg/cm +-0.3kg.

It is usually used KS-ROM company in Japan. It means that is broken ROM if you take off the ECU cover. It is set a battery inside of ECU with a switch that will be truend on when you take off a cover and ROM will be dead.

There are about 20 standard ECU data in R33GTS-T. I usually use the latest data for ECU tune because it is sovled standard ECU bug.

ROM tune is possible to deal with Z32 AFM. But then I think your Max power should be over 700ps. If less than that is not necessary Z32 AFM.

Some PFC has problem from beginning (Especially ealy models). I think some ECU specialists are known.

Cam timing between R34GTR (included Vspec, II and M spec) and N1 are diffrent. If you fit N1 turbo, you try to change the camshaft or changing the cam timing. It is help you the responce and power.

NISMO side feed 740cc injector lag time is 0.63mm/sec when the fuel pressure 2.55kg.cm. 0.66mm/sec when fuel press is 3.05kg.cm.

R32 HICAS is sometimes happned. So, the best way is you remove HICAS from a car because the rear power cylinder makes such trouble. Whatever you fit HICAS controller that can not help you.
