  1. How'd you read it so quickly? Not out till Friday where i asked...
  2. Go and catch the bus or repair your 1/2GTR and stop being a smartarse... Have enjoyed the thread tho
  3. Also did you stroke the Gen III to 355 or were you stroking something else??
  4. You've had 2 accidents which have resulted in 2 written-off cars.... you STFU about being a better driver than all other 20-something year olds on the forum and learn to use the brake.
  5. Id rather have a decent attitude and a GTSt than a f#cked attitude and a GTR.....
  6. Taking sympathy from people in regard to this accident is only worthwhile if you have learned your lesson. If your parents buy your cars then it is them whom i feel sorry for. Im glad you're not injured or worse we dont need any more senseless deaths. But are you the real deal? Boasting about this and your other acca? You seem pretty cool about the whole deal... Also what are all the wires doing out under the dashboard? You didnt happen to stumble across a stolen car (now a wreck) and take pics did you?
  7. Im eager to know who produced what at Horsepower Heroes weekend just gone at Summernats... Anyone got a link/can post results? The only thing i know is that a non-turbo R32 made 400rwkw..... :bs!:
  8. Sad story but as one of you said any car can do 115km/h not just a "souped up Nissan". How many times have we Skyliners had this sort of backlash whenever a similar incident has occurred?
  9. Wondering if anyone has one on their car that they may be selling. I know it's a long shot but thought id put it out there. PM if you have any details.
  10. Funkymonkey: anyone know if there's a bounty on monaro rims? As far as know and from what ive heard you cannot buy S/SS/Monaro or HSV rims from the dealer unless you can prove yours were stolen/wrecked etc. They charge big biccies for a set of 18inch Monaro rims (around $7k, the old SS 17s were around $5k), so in a certain sense there is a bounty on a set.
  11. I was getting into real estate purely so i could get enuf $$ to buy a skyline. Got screwed over so i didnt take the job. I wouldnt get a GTR though as youd be doing high weekly kms and servicing/parts etc would cost heaps. Thats why 318is are the go. Classy, economical and PRACTICAL. Just think of the driveways you'd have to negotiate and some of the areas you may have to go to.....
  12. Would've voted for the Astra SRi Turbo had it not have been for my experience with it at the Motor Show on monday. I walked over to it and a bloke had just got out of it and when he closed the door the ext rear view mirror fell off. D'oh! Then my dad sat in it and the seat height adjuster broke off in his hand. D'oh. Then the final straw - when i tried to pop the bonnet we spent 5 mins trying to locate the bonnet release..... we didnt find it. Pitiful. Btw 0-100km/h in 7.2s 0-400m = 15.2s Therefore not 200SX beating times. Around a track, it couldnt even dust its rival, Renault Clio Sport (in Bang for Bucks Motor magazine - the comp which it won - deservedly)
  13. Awesome!!! Was only a matter of time before someone put an XR6T into the 11s! Congrats to Nizpro. Was just reading before in the latest ZOOM that they have their XR6T up to 260rwkw with way more to go. APS have theirs up to 511hp@fly and SHV have theirs at 400kw at the flywheel..... impressive figures.
  14. Roy, you make some good points RE: SBR not tolerating substandard perfromances and the brilliance that Winterbottom displayed all year and at Bathurst. I reckon they may run a 3rd car in 2004 if they can get $$ and an extra spot from TEGA. However, Russell hasnt exactly been disappointing this year (he's running 3rd in Championship) + the Stones have outlayed big $$ to have him. Just like Lowndes, Ingall will be staying put and will more than likely finish his career at Ford (and SBR). Add W.Gardner to your list of rejected SBR drivers too... hehe.
  15. Price revision
  16. No-one interested in some nice cheap furniture? We'll let the lot go for $100 Worth at least $500+
  17. I went Adelaide this year for the Clipsal 500. They put on a heaps good event down there. It's like a festival for the week. Great atmosphere... it beat watching it on TV for sure... .... but if it rained.........
  18. Dunno if anyone here is interested in V8supercars but they're my bag baby.... Personally im hoping that Seto can get up with Craig for his first Bathurst crown.... ... but im tipping HRT and Skaifey to be on the pace from the word go although i wanna see Ambrose and Ingall decimate everyone on the day with the pace they've shown all year. How are you tipping to win?
  19. 212-215hp depending on age of car. Earlier cars had a different turbo. This equates to 158-160kw. It is believed that they do: 0-100km/h in 6.3s 0-400m in 14.6s http://moondog.250x.com/stockgtst.html
  20. My cousin at Bankstown... oops my bad.... suspension dealer...
  21. Cane furniture for sale. In good condition, clean and hardly ever used. 2 x single seater 1 x twin seater 1 x cane table It is unpainted cane (natural colour). Sydney pick up only. Reason for sale is new furniture has arrived and we need space. Would be ideal for anyone looking for extra seating at next to no cost. PM me if interested.
  22. I heard it was on the corner of Epping Rd and Pittwater Rd, North Ryde. I also heard on the radio that they had axes and baseball bats. Talk about epidemic proportions - this sh!t is getting ridiculous. Out of interest, what model GTR was it? I hope the dude makes a full recovery so he can identify the scum.
  23. jtech - yeah i had that problem about a year ago but silliconed that mo-fo up and not a prob with fumes till now and it aint that. Thanks for the advice guys - ill check all hoses, injectors and filter. Hopefully it's a $2 fix...
  24. Doesnt Pajero mean wanker? You know how Don Burke says Huru at the end of his show? Well that means "piss of you bloody wanker" in some language (i forget which one)
  25. I heard a rumour that it got cancelled but then i heard that the new President of VW Group had put the go-slow on finalising a production ready car so that they could focus on getting the quality 100% top notch.
