  1. Ok time for me to respond seeing as though i started this.... I wrote this post as it was the last straw. Every day that i am out on the roads i see the arrogance of Holden drivers. My dad drives a Holden and i wouldnt say he falls into this category but it's easier to generalise than it is to specificially pin-point every offending Holden driver. Yes there are dickheads that drive all sorts of cars even my beloved Fords but not to the extent that i see young punks in Holdens. At least in my area (northern sydney) and in my world it is Holden drivers who think they're Mark Skaife at every turn and who burn past you at 100km/h only to be stopped by the red light 50m ahead... As for my number plates.... glad to see i my photoshop talents are improving. As for my street racing.... like i say this was my first proper run (i dont make a habit of it) and it was on a dual carriage way (i.e. no oncoming traffic - all one way - the other lanes separated by a mountain). But anyway thanks for the replies guys, some interesting responses!!!
  2. I reckon they should use the one currently for sale at Unique Autosports at Castle Hill. 108,000kms, stock as a rock (so it seems), Australian Delivered.... $39,000
  3. Had my first proper run last night against of all things, my arch nemesis - the fabled SS Commodore (VX - manual). The main road out of Gosford that takes you across the bridge (where i drove alongside him), up the hill and onto the F3, was the location. After G-ing this sucker up (after he overtook me like a hero in the burbs a few kms prior), he responded at the bottom of the hill, by dropping back to second and flooring it. My intercooler piping only just fixed hours prior, my car was running sweeter than ever, i left it in 3rd (my only mods, FMIC, 3.5inch cat back, pod) and floored it. It was on... through the twists the idiot kept pushing me wide almost at times into the rockface and concrete barriers on the right, so i backed knowing i could get a good run out of the corners - and that i did. It was close all the way - sometimes his mighty 460Nm was just enuf to pull ahead - but keeping in mind i never changed down below 3rd when he dropped to 2nd numerous times - i was all over him. I had my time in the lead but then would back off cos we were up around 140-160km/h and if the cops spotted me id be gone.... Anyway after 3-4mins of flat chat driving we reached the traffic lights at the top. So i put the window down to acknowledge him for the good race (Dragging Etiquitte: Chapter 52, Section 12A), he does the same only to abuse me with the following: "That's a f@cken piece of sh$t. Ill f@cking run you everytime you f@ck. F@ck you....." and on it went.... real intelligent stuff. But how's that eh? Any other driver would acknowledge that it was a well fought race, but not Holden drivers... What is it with them? So arrogant.... and for him to call my 'line a pisa is not on. Personal insults arent cool, im sure you'd all agree. Anyway he turned off after doing a quick burnout.... cool stuff....... Im sure this guy just couldnt handle getting chopped by something with: Around 25Kw less power 3.7Litres less capacity around 200Nm in stock form less torque and down 2 cylinders.... Has anyone else come across Holden drivers with this "my sh$t dont stink attitude"?
  4. Geez..... thanks for letting me know JimX Ive heard good no wait, great things about Hills Motorsport.... poor advertising tho i didnt even know they were in the same estate as UAS.... Only tonight have i finally rectified my cooler probs...
  5. Ive just recently installed the UAS kit (Mick's Metalcraft) on my R32 GTST and i was extremely happy with the kit and the quality of the parts... HOWEVER, steer clear of Sillicon piping, it's cheaper for a reason, it's shit. Also UAS screwed me by giving me an R33 pipe instead of an R32 pipe and that caused all sorts of dramas. After i took it back to them to fix that pipe more problems arose as air was escaping from somewhere. UAS had it for 2 days and to this day the problem still exists - major pressure loss and loud air rushing noises.... Moral of the story is: FLIP pay the extra $400 or so and go with the TRUST kit.. i wish i had....
  6. Unsure of the proper name but you know what i mean.... Anyone selling?? New or used. Mine's gone all milky 'cos someone stupid used something abbrasive on it... PM me please
  7. I REALLY want a set too, have been looking for a while but to no avail.... hook me up, someone please!!
  8. From my memory the R34 GTT makes 148Kw@wheels in stock form I dont have an at the wheels figure for an R34 GTR but in the attachment is a dyno-sheet for an R34 GTR N1 (more powerful than your average R34 GTR - although still quoted at 206Kw@flywheel) which states on a mid-30s-degree day the N1 made 214Kw@wheels. As was stated earlier, if a Japanese car is quoted at 206Kw, it is more than likely making considerably more than that. R34 GTR M-Specs in stock form are rumoured to be making 240+Kw@flywheel. Apologies for not directly answering the question, and an even bigger apology for putting an article up which features a Commonwhore/Bommadore , and for the crappy quality of the article. Hope the info helps.... Source: Wheels Magazine April 2002

It's in perfect condition and comes with all piping and even a ram funnel that channels the air right into the core. Btw im told $50 is a bit cheap. UAS are selling for $195 but im not looking for that much - we'll talk $$ later.

  18. ....the rear view By the way GTRRR your ride is HOT! I love R32s sooo much. But R34s are almost as hornbag... Are they your tyre marks on that asphalt by any chance? Come on guys post in some pics - i love seeing hot rides...
  19. .....and this is one of the hottest R34 GTRs ive seen in Australia... sorry if these pics are familar and standard issue to anyone....
  20. Here's another one.... Yeah i agree R34 wheels on R32s are the best. There's another hot one going round, a maroon GTR, with the reg SYNRGY or something that spells Synergy with R34 GTR wheels and its the BOM!!! Id love a set of R34 wheels for my R32 GTST but apparently they're worth $4k!!!! Ive attached a pic of another quality R32 GTR.... enjoy!
  21. As much as i love Skylines, i would at the drop of a hat swap with cash payment of balance aswell my R32 GTST for an XR6T or a new XR8. Go with the new car option - im getting a bit frustrated with dealing with specialist mechanics etc and would give my right leg to have a warranty. Although new cars have teething problems at least repairs are under warranty and not as much will go wrong on a new car as opposed to a 10yr old import. The new Falcons are awesome - esp the XRs so go out and get yourself a Blueprint or Phantom coloured XR6T or XR8 - you wont regret it. At times i regret buying my import (as much as i love it) because the costs are never ending.
  22. This is the hottest GTR i have ever seen - i love it. Does anyone know anything about it? Seen it run? Know any specs? I am interested to know.... nicest ever.... From what i have heard so far it used to have the reg: FEELDG
  23. Thanks crooser.... ill check that one out anyone in Sydney selling??
  24. this sounds good.... whereabouts in Sydney are you? Im in the Northern suburbs are you able to attach pics? how bad are the tiny dings? I am quite keen....
  25. Good mechanics are hard to find... I had a bad experience with Unique Autosport late last year but they more than redeemed themselves this week. The worked tirelessly on my car and fixed things i told them not to bother with (free of charge). They are a little more expensive than other mechanics but they teach you things about your car as they go - e.g. what's wrong and why it's wrong and what that part does etc. Good work boys....
