I think Harry got a point there. I've seen the red R32 GTR in question, it's a stripped out and caged up machine. Who in a right mind would do that to a car and only put street tyres on it. His lap times in the Sprint track has indicated that he's running on semis, I've never seen a GTR on street tyres can do under 60s let along doing 58s. But what's done is done, there's no need to argue whos right & who's wrong. I'm sure Paul will rectify the problem and set the rules for next yr.

Thanks to Paul again for organising such a great event! This is certainly more enjoyable then the normal track days. Regarding to the tyre debate, this is really opening a can of worms. What one might see one particular tyre as a "Semi" others might see them as Street. I'm sure everyone is familar with Falken RT215 tyres, they are infact street tyres but look like semi slicks. And Kumho V700 or V70A are infact semis that look like street tyres. It all depends on the compound, not tyre pattern. And also on the race class, Hoosier tyres looks like slicks with 2 shallow cut grooves in them, but they are DOT approve and street legal. So they are classfied as semis. We have to run a controll tyre event to be fair, but that takes away the fun factor and becoming a bit too serious. Remember, at the end of the day, we are just out there to enjoy our cars and enjoy driving!!

It means the thermostat start opening up at 62 degrees ( stock one opens up at 76.5 degrees) your water temp will be higher than 62 degrees, presumably around 80~85 degree when it's upto working temp. The thermostat is sold to satanic
