Exactly!! We all have our R34 sitting in our garage and are having fun with the car. Instead of b*tching about the pricings, why don't you get your act together and import one!

GTR___34: Auction sheet doens't show everything. For instance, an R34GTR owner in Japan might just swap with a lower kay dash and then put the car into the auction. You never know unless you undo the dash and try to see if it has been tempered with. The good thing about getting one that has already landed in Oz is you can see, feel, test drive the car. Not just by judging by auction sheet alone. Unless you can actually test drive the car in japan before purchase (which I dont think you can do that). It's obvious that you want one with an auction sheet to prove it's kms and have already made up your mind that all oz have dud kms. why not just import one yourself?

Thanks for the comment guys, I'm up in QLD, I ended up take out the Hicas fuse so it's permantly disabled. The car ran on the track with no problem.

Hi all, I've got a R34 GTR had recently has this hicas warning light lights up after some alarm installation. It's sort of intermediate, sometimes it comes on, sometimes it doesnt. but once it's on it stays on. I've search the forum and found you can reset it by resetting the ECU ( -ve off the battery). It hasn't worked. Also I cannot run the Hicas diagnostic mode. can anyone tell me the process again? Anyway, with this Hicas warning light on, is it effecting the handling of the car in any way? the reason I'm asking is I have a track day this Saturday. is it safe to go out on the track with the warning light on? thank you

This mines car at autostyle is a 1999 model vspec. a complete engine from MINES costs roughly $25k. If you add all the mods offered by MINES it would not cost $250k to build. I'm not sure why the owner would say he spent 250k+
