Ok, i went to court today for the hearing and i got off under section 10 so i have to complete a theoretical traffic offenders program and then i should have my licence back in 10 weeks. yay! I've learnt my lesson already, i can just see how much im gonna crave getting in the drivers seat once those 10 long weeks are up... Now back to the cruise/show. I can't drive my car. And the friggin stupid long veilside kit does not allow for easy manouvering in and out of the carport, so my car will be remaining home for this event. However, Dean & I have arranged for him to drive me down to the event. So Linton maybe you could meet Dean at Maitalnd and then poke your head in at Newcastle to pick me up. Let me know whatever's easy, i can arrange to be picked up from the highway if you want - just let me know Dave.

Im a definite now. Linton how are the air boxes, panels goin? Can you bring along a specimen so i can see the final product please Thanks.

Yeah chris organised that event, good memory. I reckon this event would be awesome, but it may be better to wait till the months are less wintery and the chance of rainy weather has decreased.

How about we lay some facts down in a structuered layout. 1. Newcastle guys / And north (ie Maitland): Meet up at 8am sharp at the two shell service stations in wallsend. If you are from newcastle and don't know where this is then please PM someone to find out. 2. South of Newcastle: Meet at 8:30am at the two caltex service stations on the highway. Go to the one which is on the south travelling side. Once again, PM someone if you are uncertain of its location. Hopefully, the newcastle guys will be on time and we should all be at the Caltex highway servo at 8:30-8:40am. From there we can travel down to the event. Please bring along your UHF radios, and exchange phone numbers on here before the event so people are able to be contacted on the day. Dave.

Whats the 'holiday' due to?

FriniK that shirt design is awesome, well done man. Since i wasn't consulted i'll voice my views on whether it matters if it has GTR references on it or not... I don't own a GTR but that wouldnt put me off the idea of a silhouette of a GTR on the shirt. I think the GTR looks much better so it'd be great for the shirt picture. Take the current design out forward by FriniK for example. The only thing i thought may be controversial would be the actual model of the car and the RB26DET/twin turbo text. Sure, it looks sweet, but maybe just keep the design as is but remove that line which leads to the hood of the car and have RB25DET written on the side too. The other key issue is, what model skyline do you put as the picture? Just 1, all of them or none? I think there would probably have to be all if you wanted to keep EVERYONE happy, so that being said, maybe just the graphics without that car would be suffice. Personally i think that if you are the sorta person who is keen enough to get one of these shirts/jackets; then you basically have the skyline heritage & loyalty in your blood & wouldn't mind too much on what model car/design was chosen in the end. Just my 2 cents worth. Dave.
