so will the drive send a signal if its just hooked up to 12v and earth? If it does then I should be able to use that signal for a aftermarket speedo device (apexi RSM or AVC-R)

So are you saying its only two wires from the R33 speedo drive that then go into another device and get turned into a single wire that goes to the ecu and speedo?

The R33 speedo drive has three wire's, 12v, earth and signal. Im about to put a R33 gearbox into my R32 but I'm not going to bother with changing the speedo drive to suit the mechanical because the plastic bit in the back of the dash cluster has broken so many times and im sick of fixing it. What I want to do is use a APEXI device like a RSM or AVC-R to use as a speedo. If I hook up the drive to 12v and earth could I then use the signal directly into a rev/speed meter? Would I need to use a relay so the power going to it turns off when the cars not in use or will it not drain power unless moving? Thanks, Daniel

How would one go about hooking up the R33 eletric drive to an APEXi RSM? See my speedo hasnt worked for a while because the plastic attachment into the back of the speedo has shattered after I put too much glue in it and forced it back on too hard. I would need to do the navara speedo drive bit and get a bit made up for the cable to speedo. Wouldnt it just be easier for me to hook up the R33 speedo drive and use the signal from that to operate a Rev/speed meter??? Anyone know how to get the R33 speedo drive to send a signal??? Thanks

If I can find a manifold for RB26, waste gate and some type of intake and dump then I'd be keen. Haven't been able to find the setup I want so might have to settle for this. Help finding manifold and other bits would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Daniel

Hi, I'm looking for a turbo kit for my RB30/26, I'd like something like a T04z or GT35r setup, would also consider twin's ie, T517z's. High mount or low, internal or external gate I'm not fussed about. Hoping to spend less than $4k so I can afford other things I need. This is for street/drift setup looking for aprox 350rwkw's with good midrange power. please include specs, pics (if you have any) and delivery to SA 5251 (can pick up if in SA). thanks, Daniel

Because people like me are willing to pay good money for this setup so we can have good power and good response, should be even better on my RB30/26det... if I even manage to get this kit before its sold to another lucky sucker.

I need a stronger gearbox to put behind my RB30/26det, looking for a R33 box and R33 yoke or if anyone has a kit already from a R32 with R33 box I'd be keen on that. please post or PM with price and details including delivery to SA 5251 (can pick up if in SA) thanks, Daniel
