  4. is there anyway to take music from my ipod and put it on my comp?? i have a 60gig video ipod and i can only move files from comp to ipod not the other way. (can move other way if they are in data format, like using the ipod as a storage drive not an mp3 player).

  11. yeh didnt think that it might need to be reinforced. front bar seems to be fair sturdy but will hafta look into it. And cheers for lettin me use your pic. very nice car youve got there.

  13. yep, right bar but cut out wider so its one rectangle instead of a step, if that makes sense. made this on bitmap. real pic would be betta

A few R32 owners cut out the number plate bit to allow more flow to the FMIC. i want to cut it our as big as the FMIC. i know it has been done before but i cant find any pics of it. if anyone has any it would be much appretiated. (dont know if bars are spec related but mines a TYPE-M, goes straight down instead of back behind) cheers Daniel
  15. well writen manual. looks like its gonna save me $300 in rails, would be good if i could keep the original seats but eh. How difficult would it be to make up the cut off bits from the original seats??? couldnt you use 25x3mm flat bar and bend it into shape?? also what did you do about the seat belt bit from the oringinal seats? Harnesses are killa but requires the back seat to be removed which isnt that bad but i use the back of the car for tread so i need to have the stock seatbelt (harness straps would mean i couldnt carry as much tread to each meet).
  16. howdy, i stuffed my brakes at the 6hour last weekend and so im thinking about getting some R33 gts-t rotors and calipers to do a front brake upgrade. where would i find some in reasonable condition??? cheers Daniel
  17. need another one of these for an RB30det(t) install. everyone knows how to build an RB30de but no how to do wiring or bracket swaps and how well it goes into bay etc

  19. hi, a friend of mine has a viper remote start alarm in his R32 gts-t. when he locks the car the front passanger door dosnt lock (four door). the only way to lock it is to flick the switch while holding up the door handle and closing the door (normal non central locking way). is this a comman problem with R32 gts-t's? i had a good look at everything in the door and i couldnt find anything wrong but then i havnt worked with central locking before. should he take it to someone or does it just need a new actuator? thank you
  20. my R32 has very average radio reception, i think its beacause of the headunits booster cancelling out the cars aerial booster (Alpine head unit). im not realy fussed, theres nuthing good on radio anyway... except fresh fridaynite... rollers i think
  21. i havnt done many track days but i am drifting more and more, well every chance i get now that i have a lil bit of a tyre sponsor. how hard does the stock RB26 rev (where does the power level off)?
  22. hmm, to add to the confusion, building the full RB26dett would cost me less than building the RB30/26. a good friend has the bottem end, i already have everything else ( except forged pistons and gaskets ), i already have the RB30 but still need oil pump, water pump, pistons, gaskets. the 30 will cost more due to ceramic coating, cam belt setup, tuning and other eletrical bits. the RB26 will need a few bits replaced but will be like a simple rebuild, not much tuning needed. either way ill be putting it together with darren from lewis engines so porting, preping rods crank, shot pinging, boaring, honing etc will only take up our time not money.

  24. id do it all myself, but will the R32 gtr sump fit into the R32 gtst body? i thought the steering setup was different? Mr RB are you running everything stock or what mods do u have on the RB30/25? as to the ceramic coating, i wont be running oil squirters so for future modding im fair sure ill need it. any other comments on power/torque. its a hard driven street car thats on the track for drift/motorkana/sprints about once a fourtnite cheers
  25. hi, i started getting bits together to build an RB30dett with a gtr head and turbos and can still do so. but i can now get hold of the rest of the gtr engine so im not sure as to what one i should build. its to go into an R32 fourdoor. If i build the RB30 i have to ceramic coat pistons, drill out head bolt threads, modify cam belt bits, change oil pump etc. If i build the RB26 i have to work out how to move the oil pickup and use another sump due to the 4wd sump (i have the rb30 sump and ill have my rb20 one but i dont know whats involved in moving the pickup??) comments please cheers daniel
