Had a look at everything today, there was no excessive play anywhere and no abnormal noise. From tail shaft there is only 1mm of twist movement before the wheels move, so I took the tail shaft in for a balance and they found one of the uni joints isn't snug in its housing so its being replaced, will find out tomorrow if it was unbalanced.

The tail shaft has been balanced but its always possible someone made a mistake while doing it. Wish I had a hoist haha. Will check neutral but clutch depressed doesn't make a difference. Will try to take a look at it next weekend if I get a chance.

Hi people, just finished an engine upgrade and finally got my car on the road. Everything's great until 100km/h. Thought it was wheels so I changed them for new and balanced but it didn't make a difference. I've always had alloy pineapples (solid mounted sub frame) and the 2-way diff didn't have any problems before the engine upgrade, although I had it out and a friend borrowed it. I've got a second hand R33 5-speed box and a new custom one piece tail shaft. The vibration doesn't come through the steering wheel or gear stick but you can feel it in the back of the seat like a monster sub-woofer. I'm not sure where to or how to start identifying the problem...? Any suggestions? Thanks, Daniel

Got a few offers for $100. Just had a good look at the bits and I've misplaced the bolts but the rest is there including the "twin turbo" top pipe.

I have a complete GTR turbo setup leftover from an upgrade to T04z. Kit has everything as far as I'm aware. One turbo has small shaft play and second needs rebuild but is good for parts and both are working. Includes lines, bango bolts manifolds, dumps, gates etc. Open to offers starting from $50 Would prefer not to seperate as I'm selling due to space and want it gone. Thanks, Daniel

Picked up a new ENT PND-S35 today from an auction. Works fine on all functions but the main one. Comes up with a message saying "no navigation software". I noticed it has a SD card slot and it charges with a usb cable which is also for putting movies and mp3s on it. Any idea how or where to get the navigation software??? Cant take it back and doubt they will tell me the sellers details. Thanks people, Daniel

I'm moving up to the Gold Coast in two weeks with my wife and 7 month old. I've been around these forums and nissansilvia.com for a little while now but haven't seen much action in the last two years because the three two has been off the track while I worked on a engine for it. Good news is I've got it all back together and running so now I just need to find a way to get it registered in QLD. So if anyone has a min or two to list off some import friendly shops where I could borrow/loan/buy parts to help get my car a little more discrete looking I'd appreciate it. The main thing I'll need is stock seats and a quieter exhaust system because I don't think my Cobra seats and bride rails are ADR approved and my home job 3.5inch system doesn't have a cat. I know I have to get my top mount T04z turbo ticked off by an engineer but I don't know what the engineer will want to see and apart from that I'm not 100% sure on anything else I need to do to get QLD rego. I need to change the engine number as well due to the upgrade. I'm also worried about my bigger brake rotors, suspension parts and aftermarket ecu/injectors/etc. Actually I'm worried about almost everything on the car. I'd like to drive my car around on the SA rego until I get everything sorted and my brother (SA police officer) has said I can for 3 months max but he could be wrong...? Any good help is greatly appreciated
