My mate has recently finished modifiying his R34 GTT with majority brand name parts (garrett GT3540, Apexi power FC, Gready ProFec, Splitfire coils ect. ect) and tells me his cheap 600x300x76 actually 'wastes' around 3 psi of boost that turbo makes when number of tests were done.. Not sure how accurate this info is but may be food for thought..
  2. 1. '83 XE Falcon with the usual P-plater mods; exhaust, rims, suspension, tint & stereo. (roomy back seat ) - 2 years. 2. '93 ED Fairmont with just about every N/A mod I could thinks of (loved that car until I lost my license ) - 4.5 years. 3. '94 R33 GTsT - Had for 6 months now..
  3. Conidering it has a T3 flange, will it bolt directly into the standard R33 low mount turbo manifold? Also, would it need a new FMIC to get about 10-12psi of boost? ...my baby's in deparate need of a new turbo..
  4. I'm very interested, but is that amount of shaft play ok or does that mean it doesn't have much life left in it? Please excuse my inexperience
  5. have you sold the turbo yet? if not, how much?
  6. Why not adjust the boost to less than stock? Thats how my R33 was when I bought it, for that reason also..
