  1. Hmmm its interesting to see that some people have used it and some havnt, in my opinion the "relief valve" must come with the pump for some reason surely, it would seem strange to me if it didnt have much of a purpose. Also the valve has a threaded end (it is a male thread, the thread is on the outisde) on the bottom of it like it is meant to screw onto something which i thought was a bit strange, maybe it will all make sense once i pull out my stock pump.
  2. So does anyone actually know what this little "relief valve" is for? could someone explain what it does.
  3. So do the stock gtr bovs still have the little hole on the base of the bov just like the stock rb20/25 ones?
  4. Bump, help me please lol
  5. I was in the same situation as some of you guys a while ago, i didnt want to be cutting up parts of my car just to fit a fmic, so i decided on the Blitz LM fmic from Nengun, and i recommend it to everyone, it was so easy to fit, works great and looks awsome, here is a link to my thread i started a while ago when i was deciding what fmic to buy http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=155619
  6. Hey mate Yea i saw that DIY thread and the guy didnt bother installing that valve, but it must come in the kit for a reason, i dont think they would put it in there for nothing, anyway i will start doing the pump tonight and if i can see were that valve goes (Im guessing its just a replacement for the stock valve) i will put it in, but if i cant find were it goes i guess i will just leave it out, unless someone can tell me if it need to go in and were. It cost me $420 nzd shipping if i can remember right, i choose it over the usual bosh/walboro setup as its a straight no hassel bolt in setup. Cheers .
  7. Not a problem, send me a p.m once its all set up and i will deposit the money Cheers
  8. Hey guys I just received my nismo fuel pump from nengun and am wondering if i should install the little fuel relief valve thingy ,its says on the nissan box "A VALVE CUT" , im not sure exactly what it is and what it does but im wondering if i should install it or keep the stock one, if i need to install it were does it go? I need to get this pump in tonight so if anyone could please reply to this thread and let me know if i should use it or not that would be great. Thanks alot Jason
  9. Nice wheels mate, the suit the car very well.
  10. Injectors, my stock injectors make a tapping nose as the car is warming up, the noise goes away once it is up to full temp. An easy way to check is to get a long screwdriver, start the car up then put the screwdriver on the little metal injector cap (cant remeber what it is called exactly) then put ur ear on the handle of the screwdriver while the car is running, this will amplify the tapping noise and you can then clearly hear were the sound is coming from. You can do this anywere on the engine to try and find the noise.

  16. What a pointless thread, it all comes down to personal preference!
  17. www.skylinesdownunder.com/forums works fine
  18. Why would you waste your time stripping the boot? the parts in the boot dont weigh bugger all, and in a rwd you want as much weight in the rear of the car anyway to help with traction off the line. It sounds like you need alot more practice, if you cant get a decent time with that much power and your suspension/tyre setup then your obviously doing something wrong (no offence aaron) , people on this forum have got into the 13's easy with just exhaust mods. Practice practice practice.
  19. Mmmmmmmmm that is sex

  24. YUp my pcv valve seal also has a air leak, you can hear it start to whistle when the car is idling, hasnt caused any dramas yet tho, if you really want to block it off and do a quick job you could just cut the hose in half a put a bolt in each end to block it off. But you might aswell get a catch can then remove the whole pcv setup and get an alloy bung made to fit inside the original pcv valve seal that goes in the cam cover, thats what i will be doing very soon.
