If the bends are nice and smooth it shouldnt disrupt airflow at all as it will still have a smooth path to follow, if it had sharp square bends then it would disrupt airflow quite a bit. Thats the exact reason ive been looking at the blitz lm fmic, i dont want to be drilling holes and cutting fans blades just to fit a fmic.

If you are only using 1 clamp on that pipe like Lazy-Bastard said then that will be your problem (obviously)

So do you think that the silver r33 on the 1st page has just mounted his up all wrong?? It dosent look very good at all which is why i need pics to confirm exactly what it looks like when its mounted up correctly.

Looks like yourve got the wrong afm, the z32 afm's that people normally use have an orange sticker, maybe the one you have is from an N/A?, allthough i thought that the N/A and turbo z32's used the same afm, but i could be wrong.

Just received a reply from homerrules on NS.com and have been quoted $1300 AUD delivered, which is $1466 NZD , i think i will go with nengun instead, if i decide to get one lol.

So what did it cost you all up (aussie dollars) from "homerrules' if you dont mind me asking, if its not much more then nengun i may send him a p.m and see what he can do, its going to cost me $1080 nzd from nengun delivered which is a very good price, but then there is the risk of getting charged importing fees, someone loosing the package (i dont think that would happen), damage etc ,ive heard nothing but good things about nengun so im not really to worried if i do decide to buy from them.

I would hardly call the HKS Silent High Power quiet.I only have the silent power and a decat pipe and its already pretty loud, it was very quiet when the rest of the exahsut was standard tho, i think i sounded better to, just rember that the r33 silent power uses a bullet shapped center muffler (its tiny as you can see on my pics) and the r34 silent power uses a box shapped center muffler which makes it alot quieter.

Yea i know,nengun is bloody cheap , but i may get charged importing tax and stuff like that if they display how much it is worth, if i buy it from someone in aussie i may be able to get them to write the value a little lower than its actually worth so hopefully i wouldnt get charged importing tax etc etc. Im looking forward to you and alphanumeric posting up some more pics, hopefully i will make my mind up when i see some decent shots lol

Thats bullshit, the guy on this forum (Mr331307, i think) was making over 500rwhp for a year and all he did with it was drag racing, burnouts and tons of dyno runs ,i wouldnt call that lasting 5 runs!

Its not that amazing, there are also rb25det's in r33 gts25t's running 10's on completly stock bottom ends aswell. There is also a s13 silvia here in N.Z which is tubbed with a tube front end (could be a full tube chassis, would have to check) running 8.9 @ 144mph (i think he has gone even faster) using a completly stock rb30 bottom end with a r33 rb25det head and a t51r , last time i read about it it was making around 800hp atw and they wanted to keep pushing it to see how much the bottom end could take, im pretty sure it is now running meth aswell.

HKS Silent High Power FTW, go to the r33 link in my signature if you want a few pics of what the muffler looks like etc etc, awsome build quality and fit with no modifications.

All of the cheap coolers that are made in china are usually all the same, they are fine for decent power (i had one in my old car, and my brother uses one in his 306fwkw civic and they work great), the only thing i dont like about them is the cheap as piping kits that usual come with them, if you want to do a fmic on the cheap and enjoy hacking up your car then you have made a good choice as they are a very inexpensive mod.
