  1. Nice looking motor mate, very clean!
  2. Heres a link to the site showing the Japanese Performance r33 SirRacer is talking about, it has the list of mods and times ,it states it runs a gt3540 and makes 450rwkw on 19psi but it dosent say what a/r, all it says is (secret a/r), it ran a 10.65 @ 128mph,(mph seems a bit low for the rwkw) when i saw it the day it ran that time it didnt look to even to be stripped, it was just a boring plan looking r33 with slicks. http://www.japaneseperformanceparts.com/ni...det-p-4409.html
  3. They both use the same power fc.
  4. Ahhh i thought so, thanks for clearing that up,also does the power fc boost controll solenoid plug straight into the gts25t standard boost controll solenoid wiring loom? Cheers mate
  5. That dosent look to hard to make, you could make a mock up one out of steel or alloy, using the same design (having the air intake in the grill) then get it made up in plastic or carbon (expensive), i just had a quick look at my car, it looks like you would have to modify the bonnet a little bit by cutting some of the front of the bonnet frame out (which might be illegal) so that you could fit a decent snorkel in between the bonnet and the radiator support bar, which would then connect up to the air intake mouth in the grill. Only problem would be water getting into the airbox when its raining
  6. Does the map sensor (boost pressure sensor) not come in the PFC boost controll kit?? i thought it did
  7. UAS (Unique Auto Sports) sell carbon bonnets for series 2 r33's http://uniqueautosports.com.au/
  8. Yea i used to get around about 500km when it was completly stock and if i drove it like a grandma with the occasional bit of boost, now i have a catback and decat pipe and running the "highboost mod" and usual get just over 400km, thats driving to work in the morning, driving home at lunch then driving back to work, then driving home after work everyday, and also giving it the ocasional boost once in a while, so yea its still pretty good on gas but will be even better once i get my power fc tuned, theres actually a few people on this forum that also got the same mileage as me when there cars were stock, it all depends on how you drive it.
  9. Hey "Robo's" Just wondering if you can confirm for me that the "type 1" power fc boost controll solenoid plugs straight into the gts25t standard boost controll solenoid wiring loom?? i just want to confirm that before i buy one, im pretty sure it does tho. Cheers
  10. www.ripsltd.co.nz, send him an email, im sure he will be glad to help you out.
  11. Do a search buddy, this question gets asked atleast once every 2weeks!! SEARCH!!!!!!!
  12. Yea thats the main reason im wanting to get a nismo fuel pump, i had a gtr fuel pump in my old r32 gtst and everyone said it would be a straight bolt in, but it turned out that i needed to modify the bracket and filter bag, was a pain in the arse, so ive decided to spend a little bit extra this time and go for something that will bolt in with no hassles, i think i will place an order with nengun soon (might also get a blitz lm fmic kit and a few other bits and peices) everyone seems to trust them and ive never heard of anyone having a problem with them so thats good. Cheers mate
  13. Oh ok awsome, i actually put a thread on SDU about a week ago but only got 2 replys so far, how long did it take for you to receive the parts after you had payed for them?? and also how good was the communication?? that is my biggest concern. Cheers mate
  14. I thought you were selling your car aaron??lol
  15. Sorry to go a little bit off topic, but is there anyone on this forum (preferably a trader) that i can p.m about buying a nismo fuel pump?, i was going to order one from negun, i live in new zealand and not many people have had any experience dealing with negun, so i dont want to pay the money then never recieve the pump, i would much rather deal with someone in aussie If someone could let me know who i could p.m that would be great Cheers
  16. I got to agree with you I would rather a car that grips well instead of a car that spins the wheels and dosent go anywere, also a well set up car handling wise is alot more fun than a car that has lots of power but dosent handle well and cant put the power to the ground around corners,a car that you can take round the twisty's and give a nice fast run is the setup for me.
  17. Nice way to ruin a couple of skylines! dahm there ugly!
  18. When i was looking for a power fc i was told that apexi will most likley be bringing out the replacement for it somewhere around mid 2007. The reason they were discontinued had something to do with the supplier of one of the chips used in the power fc not being manufactured anymore, atleast thats what i have read anyway.
  19. Yup thats correct, the 1989-1991 r32's i think were the lighter ones, 1991-1993 were heavier as they had side intrustion beams added to the doors which added weight.
  20. Hey mate Just wondering who your tuner is?? Yup the grey Japanese Performance series 1 r33 was the one i was talking about earlier, done 10.7 or 10.65 at masterton motorplex, pretty impressive, sounded bloody amazing too!!
  21. Yeah i dont doubt that you made the power you said you did, i watched all the vids on your site and read your whole thread aswell, was very impressed lol. There seems to be lots of guys in the usa putting rb25's into silvias at the moment and making very decent power reliable to.
  22. If Power FC's are so "rubbish" then why are half of the people on this forum using them??? I have heard and read nothing but good things when it comes to Power FC's which is why i purchased one for myself. By the way this thread wasnt about ecu vs ecu, the guy asked a question "how much power can a r33 rb25 handle?" in my mind there is no right or wrong answer, it all comes down to how well it is tuned, the quality of the parts used, the conditon of the engine etc etc, i have heard of lots of people making huge power on stock internal rb25's ,there is a r33 over here that has very similar mods to MR331307 , he is also using a gt35/40 from what i have been told, and is said to be making 450rwkw on stock internals ,it ran a 10.7 a few months back (not sure what MPH, was completly stock bodied aswell) IMO 300rwkw is a very nice number for a street driven stock internal rb25det r33.
  23. Very nice mate!Sooooooooooooo clean
  24. Hmm they look like desmond regamasters (i think thats what there called) to me! if so they would be worth a bit, they are said to be very light weight, hence why there a favourite with the honda boys.
  25. Look on the brightside, now yourve got a reason to spend some money and get your turbo highflowed hehe
