Hey guys I recently sold my r32 gtst 4door and will be buying a 98 r33 gts25t 40th aniversary in a couple of weeks, so i want you to post some pics of your r33 or any hott r33 just to give me a bit of an idea on what sort of things i will change on mine I would preffer pics of series 2 r33's but anything will do Cheers

I have also read that the 98 40th aniversary edition r33's has a different TPS (throttle position sensor) than the other r33's

CAS=crank or cam angle sensor (some guys call it crank angle sensor others call it the cam angle sensor) its the round silver dome looking thing that is bolted to the front of the cambelt cover, and has a plug and wiring loom plugged into the bottom of it.It is connected to the exhaust camshaft and acts like a distrubutor on normall cars like hondas etc etc, sorry im not very good at explaining things lol

Have a look at the pics od the motor,Its just the little black plastic cover thats bolted to the CAS, its meant to be the same as the r34, only the 40th aniversary r33's have it, which is what i have read on this forum and that seems to be correct from all the other series 1's and 95,96 and 97 r33's i have seen pics of.

I have been on the phone to the owner a couple of times over the past week, seems like a very nice and honest guy, yes the gearstick and handbrake boots have been replaced because when he got the car there was a big rip/cut in the gearstick boot so he replaced both the boots so they match up, the funny thing is he gave me some bad news lol, his farther was driving the car and hit a dog which cracked the bumper, but its going in to a reputable panel shop on monday to get fixed (he said he hates bog so hes getting it fixed the right way, which is good) i will be getting the car check out in sometime in the next few weeks and may even get a speedo/odometer check done on it for peice of mind The car "is" a 40th aniversary, i saw a few exterior pics of it on the website it was advertised on, has the 40th aniversary badging on the rear quater panels, it also has the plastic CAS cover (same as the r34 CAS) which only came on the 1998 40th aniversary r33's so i have read.But overall the car seems in pretty good nick i think

Heres some more pics of the car, i will be getting a AA (dont know if you guys have the AA over the in aussie lol) check done on the car before i buy it just to see if theres anything wrong with the car

The car has done 74000kms, it still has the nissan cambelt sticker on the cam cover if you know what i mean, the owner said that the car is very straight, it seems to be in very good condition but i am still waiting for some more decent pics, it is completly standard apart from an alarm (maybe that is why the dash may have been pulled apart and not put back together properly) and stereo, the owner is a member of skylinesdownunder and ive read threw his old post and it says that he had a problem with the boost gauge going when the rear wiper was going (sounds a bit strange, could also be another reason why the dash could have been taken apart). I have not been able to view the car in person yet as it is a 7hour drive from were i live lol, so im judging the car buy the pictures i have received (12pics) and by what the owner has told me about the car. I may be flying up to pick up the car next weekend, hopefully the car is exactly how it has been described as i dont want to fly up there to find a dodgy car.

Have just uploaded a bigger pic, looks like the dash hasnt been put back on properly or something, maybe its just the picture (optical illusion)

Hahah you know that pic of my car has a copyright on it ,lol just kiding, i was actually going to do the same thing as your thinking about, get the bumper cut the whole size of the cooler, i think it looks good (but only if its done right) i have some pics on my other computer i will try and post them up tomorow

Are you still using the standard dump pipe or an aftermarket one???if you still have a standard one a new aftermaket or even a custom made one should be next on your list for a little bit more power.
