Nissan Skyline R32 Gts-t coupe with 2.0 litre S15 SR20DET twin cam turbo engine upgrade 5 speed Balanced / blue printed SR20DET, new engine PRIME GARAGE custom stainless exhaust manifold HKS front pipe HKS full exhaust Front mount intercooler TEIN Racing suspension TOMEI Highflow Fuel Pump PowerFC The internals of the engine i do not know, I haven’t even check or done its first service. But the supplier in Japan Mark Hocking spoke to me on the phone, and his words are like "I don’t know what they have done, but its one of the quickest type M I have ever driven, Just be careful with it when you first get it, your in for a surprise." You could say any supplier would say that, but I had purchased it about 2 weeks before he made such comments. He had to take it back to prime garage as the existing fuel pump had given in, wanted to give me an option to get it fixed in Japan... I don’t like talking it up, I just take it as it is. I’m sure when I take it to hyperdrive for its servicing and tuning, I will find more out about its internals. Thats going to happen when I get my licence back.

Much Thanks. That is good knowledge to know.

Yeh that’s there website, unfortunately I don’t read Japanese. The information you gave me is awesome just in what you got from there homepage. Tonto the head mechanic there, I believe was the one who built my car, from what I could gather. I don’t want you to go out of your way to help me too much, But if you get bored or something much appreciation in advance Much Thanks Andrew

I can not comment on the crowd you used in Bayswater. But I can fully recommend JapParts in Maddington. My car was pretty much engineered for circuit racing, Hell it was built two years ago by Prime Garage http://www.prime-garage.com/ . It has a Blueprinted S15 engine in it, the perfect car for a thrashing around the block. I have a lot of respect for these guys, nothing happen to my car. Trust me I Kept logs on the speedometer and fuel gauge.

Quick Reply is still there, its just called Fast Reply. I don’t even thing I had to even enable it in the options. Just remember guys, it might take a bit of time, to find stuff in these new boards, but it would of been the same when you first started to use VB3. Just take patients.

f u c k A real Concern. People, should start to watch the people following them home. The guy across the road, his work colleague son had a wrx, same thing happen. Broke in, didn’t find the keys so they came back the next night and tried again. Evenly, They follow you home at a distance. I would recommend installing security lights right in the area where your car, sleeps at night. And wire up some personal alarm system, so if it goes off it wakes you up. That way you know when “what the f u c k” is happening.

why didnt we get it from you.. Why would you get in trouble And does anyone know any other method of protection other than radar detectors

They use a red filter over the flash at night time so the driver’s night vision isn’t reduced. Trust me, when they take your picture of your car, the number plate is a white Haze/glare... its when the put the photograph to its opposite colours i.e. showing the negative of it, that is when they read you numbers on your number plate nice and clear. Does anyone know of any license plate protectors to protect it from radical bright random flashes which occur on the side of the road?

I have an r32 GTS-t, which has front GTR end, along with a GTS bonnet. Yet the car itself is running a sr20det s15 engine transplant. The car it self is sick, but I would never ever put GTR badges on it. That is just pathetic. I saw an r32 GTS in a car park 2 weeks ago, and I had to stop myself from ripping the GTR badges off. Just don’t do it, it shows a complete lack of respect for GTR’s.

I have another example. Just look around to see who are have displayed this car on there website. Its not difficult. I know of two brokers. Our main Brokers here have been in this game long enough to know by now the cars that come on Japan Auto Direct are most likely crap. Japan Auto Direct mostly buy the cheapest cars [R grade] which don’t have much of a bidding war on at auction so they get them cheap and then sell with quiet a mark-up for export. I might not work in this industry but if I have access, to websites, which display auction reports history, I don’t know why our brokers here, don’t do the same to rat out the crap, that is rampant. Isn’t that what we pay them for? Too look out for us, with the wealth of invaluable knowledge that they have gained through years and years in the industry? I don’t mean to make it an agenda, I just don’t want to see someone importing a car, then finding out that it has to be crushed or re exported, a complete lost of $$$$ to the client. And then to hear the broker say, “Sorry not much I can do about it when the dealer in Japan failed to past the information onto me.” Btw the car below was bought for 160,300 at auction. Do the maths! -

That’s the point. IT CANT! There is no chance that would get through a compliance shop and if it did, that compliance shop if found out would be up for massive fines, and possible lost of RAWs. A compliance workshop wouldn’t risk it. -

You have got to be F U C K I N G KIDDING ME.. http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au/?/au/...sp?StockID=3310 http://www.japanautodirect.com/auto.specsh...heet.cfm?id=468 DOTSTAR http://raws.dotars.gov.au/raws_online_guide.htm http://raws.dotars.gov.au/Download/PDF/RAW...uide%20July.pdf 15. Damaged Vehicles Crash damage or corrosion may affect continued compliance with the ADRs. This is especially so in the case of the occupant protection ADRs 69, 72 and 73. It is not possible for a RAW to provide a reasonable level of assurance that a crash damaged or corroded vehicle, where the structural integrity of the vehicle has been affected, complies with all of the applicable ADRs. Therefore, it is not permissible for a RAW to fit a used import plate to such a vehicle. Before commencing compliance work each vehicle must be inspected by the RAW to check for crash damage, damage repair or corrosion that may affect the structural integrity of the vehicle. Records of this inspection are to be retained by the RAW and be made available to VSS inspectors upon request. (Regulation 57) Crash damaged or corroded vehicles where the structural integrity may be affected must be re-exported or destroyed. It is expected that a RAW would take all reasonable steps to avoid importing a crash damaged or corroded vehicle. The criteria below must be used as a minimum when deciding if crash damage or corrosion is likely to affect the structural integrity of the vehicle. q Underbody damage which results in the: Ø crushing of floorpan stiffening members, Ø splitting of seam welds or Ø tearing of the metal q Damage to rocker panels (or outer sill) which result in: Ø Dents to a depth of more than 25 mm Ø Creasing, distortion of the sill weld q Distortion to longitudinal rails affecting the front and rear crush zones. q Collision damage to steering or suspension components. q Damage to the vehicle’s outer body panels, which affect the integrity of any of the seams or joints installed by the vehicle manufacturer. q Corrosion (rust) which has resulted in perforation or flaking of the metal. When checking the condition of the vehicle the following items need to be inspected but not necessarily in this order: q Engine compartment q Right side q Luggage cargo compartment q Left side q Underbody or chassis frame q Passenger compartment <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> By the way this vehicle sold for 1,215,000 at Auction, Do the maths and you can work out what $$$ is been trying to be made out of this. And it wouldn’t surprise me if some commission is exchanged between dealer and broker, a common practice.
