Ok, I believe I know what needs to happen. The admins needs to rebuild the search index via the update counter area in the admin control panel. Admin CP -> Import & Maintenance -> Update Counters -> Rebuild Search Index -> If you are reindexing, you may want to empty the indexes. I would recommend using fire fox to do this as it’s a big activity, and ie will most likely time out and log you out. This can be fix by disabling the AdminCP Timeout, go to: AdminCP/vB Options/Admin Control Panel Options/Timeout Admin Login and set it to No. Someone get the admins to check this thread so it can be done Thus should allow the forums to run much smoother well fix the search bug

I was told, it was better to get regular unleaded when using octane booster. I can remember the chemistry behind it, but its all in how the additives boost octane levels, and regular unleaded has more of a type of chemical which these octane boosters require to boost it. Be cool if someone could verify that. I have been thinking it wouldn’t really matter as these octane boosters only step up and there’s a fair leap between 92ron Reg ULP to 96ron with PULP.

RRP of just the TV monitor alone, not the whole package combine. I know 2nd hand is a far cry from new, plus these audio stores try to jack up RRP, off there resale price, in an effort to encourage your own beliefs you getting a good deal. Insight of this I have only had this system for 2-3 weeks, and it’s been on my bookshelf ever since. Decided the system is a complete over kill for my likings. This is how we use to do it, I have my car in my own name, and it is listed under a high performance, when they asked for a list of aftermarket parts on the policy, I asked him to explain, the guy on the phone said, pretty much he wants to know what I want covered on the policy. In other words, if something happen, and the policy states the intercooler system is worth 800$ then the insurance will allocate $800 to a replacement. If something that wasn’t speculated on the policy, they won’t replace it. Only to what would be stock.

Don’t mean to bump this thread, but anyone who is using 2 Pac paint to paint rocker covers, be advised as stated above it is carcinogenic. You need a Full Face respirator, as the carcinogenic are absorbed even through the eyes. I use to work full time for a safety crowd and even there we always recommended for liability, an air line hooker system. But hey a complete over kill for a one rocket cover. But keep it to an open well vented area.

What I meant by source is the insurance “companies” this policy is with. You stated it like every insurance company is like his, and given such a statement I’m sure you went to more than one source to get quotes and figures. I don’t think there is any worth in arguing the point, but anything it is worth a try, none the less... You just don’t tell them what you are really doing... get the car insured with your father or mother, then a day or so later ring up to get your name put on the policy as a driver. Make it less obvious. I dont know about the been 21 issue, im sure they have it. I was under the impression once they didnt insure them at all. I do know they classify 'any' car with a turbo is high proformance. I nearly couldnt stop laughing.

if your going to go coil overs you may as well go after market not stock GTR. I have TEIN Racing suspension, on my gts-t the bitch is stiff as absolutely no give just about, and it takes corners like no other car that i have driven even, like i have gone into corners at 80-90km an hour by the time im out im at 100, with a tighter line.. but thats what you get with a track built car. When you car is registered on the road, get your father to go along with you when you put it over the pits, and when you pay for 1 year registration put the car under your Fathers name, so on paper it is HIS car. Or you can get your mother it doesn’t matter. Then all you have to do is, for them to put the car under there car insurance, and you as a driver. This scam, shouldn’t call it that, but it works, hell I my father got quoted with 15000$ cover for a 300zxtt with me as driver, 600$ with 200$ excess. Its going to be the only way you will get respectable pricing from any firm, otherwise you will be up in the high 1000-2500$ with over a 1000$+ excess plus a fee for been under 25 Right now I am 22; got a fairly highly modified GTS-t R32 given it was built by prime garage for circuit racing. I have it under my name, with HBF, for 1150$ a year 15000$ cover [unfortunately it was all I could afford at the time I wanted $25000] with $1000 excess… They made it very clear I wasn’t allowed to let ANYONE under the age of 21 drive this vehicle and if I did It wouldn’t be insured. And only those declared as drivers on the policy may drive it for cover otherwise there’s an additional 500$ on top of the 1000$ excess. Yeh go for it. As I said, just go in with your import approval as it has the information they need on it, and speak to the people at the licensing centers easy as that.
