Baby 34, be careful as there is now "negative rep" points that people can aquire. When reading this i was wondering if anybody was game to use it. Unfortunately for many years many of the skyline drivers who arent hooning have still had to live with the same bad rep caused from skyline speeding hoons (of which you are alluding to being one yourself) which is why many of the members are frustrated.

Ouch, I just bought the cavier black when i did my i5760 upgrade. I thought the blacks where good quick drives, mind you not as quick as my ocz 2 SSD drive but a lot quicker than my old HDDs. Spewin......

all in all i am pretty happy bout it. 8GB ram, i5, 1tB HDD windows 7, my baby will be flying for less than 1k! not too mention my SSD should be arriving any moment now from PCCASEGEAR :-) Do you guys think the ram will be ok for a mild OC?

i have a lovely xigmatek red scorpion as my cooler which is quite nice so all ok there. Looking at this RAM: http://www.netplus.com.au/product/MY3/MYD3...VR1333D3N9K2/8G i am getting most of my parts from that store so may aswell go that. Doesnt seem to be the Hyper range of Kingston RAM but should hopefully be ok to clock it to 3.3ghz.

one thing i like about the gigabyte Mboard is that it has an auto overlcok feature which should get me to 3.3 quite nicely. With that in mind, would playing with the RAM settings in BIOS muck up the OC or cause $hit to fail?

Is the ripjaw definately ok with that MB? lots of reviews of people not sure of compatable RAM with Gigabyte 1156 mboards?? I actually have an SSD an OCZ vertex SSD order i just placed with pccasegear about 30mins ago. If it is definately compatible might add it onto the list. Yeah will do a very mild OC, prob sit at about 3.3 ghz to be honest.

Well ole faithful is on her way out. Everything still works sweet but i have to restart the pc ten times before it boots as i think one of the HDDs are on its way out and its in Raid format. So is there a single player section to this at all or is it purely multiplayer? Sorry if i havent read through the whole thread if it has been answered already but i am just about to buy AC2 and really dont want any spoilers, am wondering if i should buy brotherhood with it if it continues on the story. If its just a multiplayer version i will give it a miss.

bozodos - any reason why you went the caviar blacks in raid? do you have an SSD as well? Also looking at the Gskill RAM, it looks pretty good and well priced, im going to try and track down 6gb of ram rather than the 4. I have the $$ ready but not in a rush, so am trying to figure out if prices go up near xmas which is maybe why PCCG prices arent as competitive as usual.

Nah their Corsair SSD 60GB was cheaper through PCCG than MSY, BUT again this has all changed. Also my 5870 at the time was $10 cheaper at PCCG when i added on courier fees it ended up being the same so i thought bugger it will get it locally so should something go wrong i can see the person/jump the counter :-) P.S. no account needed to work out postage on PCCG, just click on add items to cart then check out then it will show postage rates. Yeah Nismoid check it out... just a bit unusual, also would you expect prices to go up in december just near xmas? Nismoid, Divhunter, Mayuri... opinions gents......

guys i have been a pcccg man through and through ordering lots of parts from them shipped to WA. their prices have always been fantastic BUT Is it just me or have they not been passing on the good aussie dollar lately? reason being their prices were always cheaper than msy and netplus (local to me, www.netplus.com.au) but now when i am organising my i5 upgrade its about $120 cheaper to shop with msy and netplus. Its odd as they used to be the best hands down, but now... i dunno??

You want the shamrock look, like many of the UFC fighters you may need a little more than Protein...... Not to say it cant be done, however many more things were legal in US that are not legal in Oz now, heck i even remember when they banned Muscletechs Acetabolyn (sp?) so they had to make 3 different versions to comply. I agree you should at LEAST be able to bench your own weight, even more impressive is to chest press with the free weights your own weight. More core activation etc. Just back to my original point, it can be done.... BUT i do think people can have certain limitations bodywise depending on training time, dieticians, time available, Personal trainer and of course CASH to do it all. Not wanting to open can of worms nor neg you out from training hard. keep at it, go hard and watch your results.

Hmmm im not particularly into drift but i was ranked 15th in oz and 2nd in WA for onroad RC racing. carbon fibre x ray chassis FTW. had a couple of hack tt-01s hat i used to just drift with in the carpark of old apartment i used to live in but got pretty board after a couple of weeks which is why i got into the proper RC racing. Havent raced though for about 10months since the last state titles. If you boys are into your rc the australian on road racing titles will be held in bunbury prob about september next year, once every 6 years we get it here and is fantastic to watch and be a part of. As far as rc drivers driving nerdy cars.... well there was some nerds there but i used to race with one of WA's top drag racers (real cars) oh and saw ex Eagle troy Wilson every so often. couple of good websites are www.teamadrenaline.net (mainly off road but there is some links to drift websites) www.rctech.net (mainly racing but you can pick up awesome prices on modified RC cars, i look at some prices that people are selling their smashed up cars on here for and just laugh)

sweet, will do another uninstall and install old drivers tonight. ATI NOTE: what was interesting was that i had previously uninstalled the drivers through the "add/remove" software area as ATI recommended. I would remove it and all would like fine but the BSOD issue still occured hence the reason why i was telling you all in the first couple of posts i had removed drivers etc. It seems though the only proper way of removing the driver without using an outside exe is to remove it through the display option, pick your gfx card and remove drivers from there. So yeah once i did remove the drivers the proper way yourtube etc worked. cool will have another crack at it tonight. Will do a full wipe in a couple of months and do a nice upgrade at the same time, might go an i5 me thinks :-) hey again, thanks to you all for your assistance with this, if your our Perth way i owe you a beer! i really have appreciated your assistance on this one!

UPDATE Ok guys an update on this, so i spent about an hour and a half tonight mucking around removing and installing removing drivers again.... GOOD NEWS, well kinda..... removing all of my 5870 drivers off the system i can now view you tube etc i then reinstalled adobe flash player 10.1 and i could still view your tube. INSTALLED THE LATEST VERSION 10.7 OF ATI DRIVERS AND IT CRASHED!! So i can now bring it down to the ati drivers clashing somewhere in the system... Where to from here? should i keep on uinstalling the ati driver until i find one old enough (maybe 10.2?) that doesnt clash??
