ahahaha whos 'loan' car is that? is that from the panel beaters? if so thats definately an incentive to use them. Also will be good to hear your thoughts on what you feel is the better car, sure one is newer but does it handle/power as well

Mate please dont buy a bike....... Although the speed of them is incredible and such a rush I was reminded lastnight as to how dangerous they are, waneroo road, 8pm just after tuart hill mac donalds 6 cop cars 3 ambulances, bike was on wanneroo turning right into side road and unfortunately got cleaned up by a white falcon wagon...... Ummm I have seen some bad things in my life I really was not prepared to see what I have done. Also whilst managing Zest in Bibra Lake our member was 15 metres away from our front door and unfortunately got cleaned up by a truck, really nice guy too. The damage really is that much more when on a bike, from what I have seen you can still be in the right but motorist just dont see you. Im still a little bit funny from what i saw lastnight and motrobikes, have always thought it would be great to have one but thank goodness you got rammed up the bum in a nice skyline than on a nice gsxr, i dont think you would be in the same condition you are now needless to say :-(

So what happens in this situation? Did you manage to drive the car back to your house or did the towie tow it back. I have always tried to figure out how towies work as i think they get paid extra $$$$ for towing it to panel beaters and I was under the impression that if the police come it has to go straight to a panel beater? can anyone confirm that? If it is at your house and no one has taken records of whats damaged etc then does anyone know how far you can go in removing parts? I dont want any parts as SLY is lovely just the way she is, however should unfortunately this happen to any of us this could be of interest to us all to make a somewhat smarter move out of an unfortunate incident. easy - rear left coilovers (if you have them) mine was doing the same thing then up on the hoist one day realised that it had burst and had oil over it, found another one replaced it and now no more rattles......

dont go half assed on the SAFC, although it looks cool and yeah will provide a bit more power the fact is a proper setup ecu will far outway the price and performance cost. Ihad an SAFC sold it and bought a new ecu. standard to SAFC was good..... SAFC to new ECU WAS AWESOME!

How did we go with this Riaz? anybody find you a set of these for under $200? i am needing a new said of pads for the front aswell, budget minded so looking for something under $200 as well, either green stuff or bendix ultimates, am renovating sly so to speak and cant be bothered cleaning of a new set of wheels all the time with brake dust caked up on them

ok i am comfortably running 340 rwhp for the past 2+ years on standard injectors no fuel regulator just the aftermarket bosch 910 ( i think it is) fuel pump Wolf ecu or power FC will also bring that lag down quite a bit. Pretty much the info that people have given here seems quite correct however keep an eye on the injectors around the power mark, if you can see yourself going up quite a lot more then yeah go the injectors but if your happy like me (spending about 13k on the engine,used as pretty much the guinea pig motor of all original skyline owners in WA but using a highflo to have a nice reliable daily driver that still serves it when it wants) then stay around the 340 rwhp save the $$$$ and spend it on the ecu, electronic boost controller and a nice set of poncams. Using the power fc jetro or wolf enables you to not need an Air flow meter at all, go for one of them as that way you wont have to upgrade the AFM coz you wont need one at all :-)

Ahhh yes i remember have my skyline next to his supra in the car show all those years ago, his supra was decked out and completely ahead of its time. Where is he working these days? i heard he was helping to some special lambo kit cars or something?? Yep would definately recommend Leon!

Hi gang, well I am a PC upgrade junky, even though the PC is about 5 years old this puppy keeps ticking. I want her to tick faster. Am after some CHEAP 512mb or 1gb ram. some 4oomhz DDR style ram would be nice if anyone wants to sell cheap I would be interested!! Also if anyone has a REALLLLY good cpu cooling system they wanna get rid of, am currently running a zalman fan system but its not keeping it cooll enough, i want to clock it more but the whole thing is making a bad beeping noise as soon as graphics and heat get too much so am after something good. OR if anyone has a great PC going cheap approx $250 ish. im running pent 4 2.4 (clocked to 2.58) with some nice add ons so would have to be higher spec than that. if anybody knows of a way or something i can buy to realy make this thing move im all ears!! thanks all!!!

Sorry Niz and all, I have recently left again to get back in to the gym and recreation industry. Now managing three rec centres for the city of Joondalup. Much happier and so far the job is going well. I do however obviously have some great contacts there at Hays and can definately point you in the right direction. A good friend of mine is in the sales recruitment division there so could still be really good for ya! Hays does have a mining section aswell which you other guys may want to check out aswell, its called "Hays resources and mining" they are quite picky us some of the SAU boys have already seen unfortunately but if you get through obviously the big $$$ await you with the current boom.

I doubt Garret/hks will offer warranty at 22psi , thats like asking my dealer to still offer warranty at a 340 rwhp engine and the lcutch/gearbox goes. Kinda like ford with the xr6 turbo, you winda up the turbo you lose warranty on the turbo. Even though hypothetically it maybe able to handle that it dont mean it is safe to run it at that hence the bearings etc, imagine how it wouuld be if you DID actually run it at higher PSI!!! glad to hear the engine is going nice, so when does the rebuild of the old one start..... i wanna come check it out.... 40thou overbore, cams, 2.8litre stroker kit on a rb20 ahahh theres gotta be one out there

hey zad, the one im using at the moment is a turbo tech highflow and as you know works quite well.... touch wood. My understanding is that it should have a warranty or something if it has just been rebuilt, it really is duty of care of a business to ensure that a faulty product has not been sold. I suggest giving them a call, also ensure that your not boosting your turbo to high... like something stupid like 22psi.......not that you would ever do that but just stating the obvious.

Sorry the title says "with ext wastge gate" so what waste gate comes with it? I have a high flowed stock r33 turbo, what would other parts owuld be needed to mount this? or is the manifold and ext wastgate a direct bolt on? cheers, can you confirm it will suit the rb25???

I have a 1979 Ford laser KA hatch back. Bought it for $400. Officialy the best money i ever spent!!! I have had it for 3 years, IT HAS BEEN SERVICED 3 TIMES IN THREE YEARS! and by myself mind you, but the thing loves it and keeps on going! i have only had to change the alternator, went to a wreckers and got one cheap from there. its poo yellow, its old, its got rust on it but i would be screwed without it, stuffed if im going to leave my skyline out the front of a mates house when drinking for the night!!! GO THE LASER!!

I like the Aston Martin. Although the curves are not as aggresive as ferrari it seems to be more of an all round package as was mentioned. The interior is 2nd to none, half racing half pure class!

Can we perhaps pull our resources together and create a list as to where these new "NON" BP locations are. Could be a great for us to use. Mods, perhaps if you could even sticky it for a few months until everyone gets to know where they all are. I know there out there but i havent come accross a 98RON seller yet that is non BP. make the list as mention as we discover them, address or just suburb, company, fuel quality. Just a thought that could be beneficial for a lot of other skyline members, including myself ;-)

If no structural damage think of it as a free respray on the line, get the panel beaters to change the barrel whilst there. mate that one os a blessing in disguise, it may look terrible now but you have just landed yourself a nice respray!
