Since i bought my private plates I haven't been able to find a single drag except for people in lancers or 1945 model pulsars!?? I pull up next to a V8 who has been thrashing it between cars the whole time just give it a bit of a rev to let him know I am there and he didn't run.... I really want to give that lotus a run Dan that i was tellin you about.... I might not win but it would be a gun run... might come close though :-) once ITC is on (Finnaly!!) will be pulling 290 so should be a good run!

I am more of a meguirs man, however my friend that details porchse GT3's and some of the cars for Joe Crisafio as mentioned in another thread, when polishing he uses 3M brand, the same people that do those sticky notes! apparently they have a small range of polishes aswell, though he does prefer meguirs car polish he said value for money this 3M car polish is real good. He used it on my car and seemed to come up sweet!

What are some of the other things that canbe limited on a gtst? Ihave a series one with some special ABS?? so i was told by a guy out the front of perf store, he said series 1 was limited with ABS is that true? Ohhhhhhhh I wish I had vspec diff! I got mine for the shows dude, i used to like my gov plates because ion order for them to fit i had to bend the sides so if a camera ever flashed they could hardly see the last number. Now though with the new plates ( SLY 33 ) if i get flash i get a fine which is fair enough. IN the shows EVERYONE has private plates and i really liked the one I have i thought it kinda suits the car... low and sleek so i though of sly. I was never much for private plates but i do like them even though as you said it does draw unwanted attention, just have to be extra careful where i drive and park from now on.

I agree whit what your saying strich9nine, some people like sound more than speed, but when i see an excel with one of those exhaust extensions to make it sound like it is turbo charged i feel that these people should be put in the same category as the Mitsi magna driver with GTR badges. Also if they are more into In car entertainment then how come they have enough wings and spoilers on it to sink a ship. some of them really over do it and don't realise that they are spending all this money on making there cars in someway look more aggresive or faster or sportier when they have done nothing to the engine. now at the last auto salon i saw a yellow hyundai excel inthe motorkhana, i went up to him and said why is this in the motorkhana? he said it was turbo charged. Now most people would say what a waste of money, however i then felt that it justified his situation and i was generally ineterested in the mods he had done, and respected the fact that he had actually spent money on performance, well done i thought, it was a yellow excel Now I'm not teasing ricers, however if you saw a chick with a sweeet rack and you were completely drooling over her assets and she said come home with me, there you are lying on the bed she takes off her top and tissues fall out everywhere to reveal she had no breasts wouldn't you think how fake! she just tried to make herself look great when underneath it was nothing... get my drift... each to their own Kim i agree but some people really can't be taken seriously!

UMM I have heard mixed reports about this car.... theres not to many around so i would say it is the same one. I have heard that it must have been in quite a large accident before hand as on the right upper arch just to the right of the drivers window there is quite a large crease showing that the metal has bent previously. For the crease to be appearing there there must have been a VERY large accident to the front right hand side. Still thats not to say that the car would be MAD to drive and own but yeah thats some of the info i have heard about it. besides many of the imports we see on the road has been in crashes... correct me if i am wrong as this is just what i have heard.

plus when we were going to have that raffle day and BBQ day a while ago they weren't to willing to lend us a hand.... how much were they going to charge us Joe? Some ridiculous appearance fee or something??? What goes around comes around I say, they don't scratch our back we don't scratch theirs!

Throghout the days when my car is an everyday driver it loooks like a piece of poo, water marks and leaves and dust cake up on it in a few hours after a wash! i have the dark red colour maybe not as bad as black but everything marks on the paint. if i don't wipe every bit of water off after a wash water stains are everywhere!!! So before each show i have a friend who works for a detailing company who comes round my house and does a friendly deal for me as a cash job on the weekends. The paint comes up fantastic after cut buff polish like brand new! he really does fantastic job as some might have seen at shows. I will ask if he can do a few personal jobs for people. at work he charges $300 as they are one of the highest quality detailers in WA. does porsches GT2 & GT3's alf barbagelos cars! But for me normally about $65.... for everything besides shampoo of seats and stuff. put interior does get done nicely aswell :-)
