OK so no luck with the coil oveers from the 32.... gtst vspec i recall you saying that you have the shock absorbers but no rubber bushes? Are rubber bushes easy to come by or expensive? I have no idea when it comes to suspension either! If i got a rubber bush from one car would it fit in another? If i am just taking the coilover part of my car out is there a way to keep the rubber bush with the car? Anyone else out there in internet land have any stock 33 shockies for liddle ole me to borrow? Sorry for all the questions guys... car is going in on monday.....
-
Well story so far, Skyzer doesn't have shockies as through old ones out gtstvspec has them *sweeet!* but no rubber bushes for em Ken has coilovers..... Drum roll......... It loooks like GtrKen is the winner and gets the prize of an annoying Dan (25GTT) Pm'ing him in the near future for details and an endless amount of thanks and praise :-) Just spoke to Brett @ Wilkinson suspension and had no luck he said they are unrepairable. WA suspension said that they have a guy in eastern states that can fix em... so might give them ago! P.S. Ken trying to find pic... not having much luck.... am camera shy tehehehe:D

HAAHAH Funny bugger! Waiting to here form Skyzer...maybe he had a big weekend and hasn't read the forums yet:( If no luck with him i might have to harass you ken or gtstvspec for the suspension:D Thanks for that! Oh ummmm and as far as the pic goes... yeah i will try to get one up....

THANKS KEN & GTST VSPEC! Just Pm'd Vspec.... might have to harrass skyzer aswell ,Kyles lives 2 mins from me! Hmmm looks like might also check out wilkinson suspension aswell! WA Suspension seemed really good aswell... might see if wilkinson knows how to fix it locally.... 2 weeks can be quite annoying :uh-huh: Yeah i do agree with you Ken... my coil overs really are a hard ride.. but cornering is sooo much fun! also with my ride height anything softer and ithink the spoilers would be scraping each time i go on the freeway.... can't win i guess.... low rider equals ruff rider...

2 weeks ago the dentist said i should have all 4 wisdom teeth taken out with a month maybe 2 tops... I really don't want to take them out.... i like eating chicken dam it... i don't want 3 days of friggin soup... plus i think my car would like nicer with a electronic boost controller rather than me with 4 less wisdom teeth... I'm such a nice guy...always thinkg of others....

Heya Guys and Gals! I decided to Have Friday off and get my suspenion check at WA suspension as it has been a little bit more bouncy as of late. I got there and they did a quick check of the front to Coil Overs to find out that my front right shock obsorber had leaked out a lot of oil. Now these are JIC Coilovers and cost quite a bit. I am unable to see exactly what model or part type it is. So here are my options: 1. They said that they had a contact in sydney they can fix and refill it up with oil. But this will take approx 2 weeks. he said if you can find anyone with standard skyline shock absorbers ask to borrow them for 2 weeks we will put a lowered spring on fix the coilover and put it bacl on. 2 Buy new set of coil overs for $2000!! D'OH!! so guys do you know anyone that specialises here in WA fixing JIC coilovers? if not does anyone out there have any standard skyline shock absorbers with top metal mount or plate? i will pay you $$$$ to borrow them just for 2 weeks... Thanks for your help once again everyone in advance!

Hmmmm you make Queensland sound so good but it seems you like Havelock Street in West Perth a bit better as every day as i leave Dumas house there is a nice black Gtst with NIZMO numberplate.... and with the best sticker of all time.... "NO THIS IS NOT MY BOYFRIENDS!" HAHAHAH!! I LOVE IT!! I did get a bit carsick myself whilst i was in sydney though. I saw a lot of nice cars over there then i missed my car and wished i could have been in it. Are the roads in Queensland quality OK are they as good as ours.. i always thought our roads were bad then i went to Parammatta road in Sydney then realised my front spoiler wouldn't last 5 mins on that road!! foshan: does the company have a website at all where we can check out there stock?
-
Hey Woody, Good news dude!! Well put it this way... if it is in bad condition or the more reason to get your engine ported and polished and be like a new baby! Did you have the mods insured? did you tell the insurance co that you had all these mods on it? If any mods are broken it could work in your favour:uh-huh:
-
Does your company do embriodery at all? I am looking for a company to do some sewing for my next little project, i know it's a bit off topic well embriodery = sewing = shirts = SAU shirts so there!:shake: and besides will the SAU symbol be embroided? Aaaahh see no thread hi jack!!

Hey guys, I will probably come down and watch. Due to the design of my mags it really is a big pain having to take off my mags each time. kinda good in one way as it would take a while for buglars to get them off! so no dynapaks for me. I would like to coz they do have quite a good rep about them and all but i think you guys would be quite annoyed at the time it takes.. prob longer to get the front 2 off than 4wd's!!!
-
Why do you get it done for free?
-
Ahhhh Shit Woody thats bad news dude! My eyes will be plastered to any blue gtst that goes past me! Did you have it insured for a good amount to get back what you have spent on it or not really? That really is bad news to happen to ya especially to a good guy such as yourself! I think most of us now will be on the hunt for a blue gtst.... could you whack a pic up for us so we know what exactly it looks like... there are a couple of other blue ones around WA and i would feel bad for them if i start piss bolting towards the car when they are innocent.

No guys this has nothing to do with sexual organs.... I have noticed in the past few months the front end of my car is a lot more "bouncy" when going over speedhumps it feels like it is bouncing a lot more than it used to. I have JIC coilovers which i don't think are ride height adjustable. However off the top of your head are all coilovers ride hardness adjustable? i would like the front end to stop bouncing around and adjust it to more of a harder ride ... any ideas? Sorry about not much info on the coil overs but besides me knowing what brand they are (JIC) i don't really know much else about them :-(

Hey Dude, I'm eading out to Northbridge that night for a party ... do you think you bunch of pissheads will be heading out northbridge way at all?

New Prices Parts Must Go
25GTT replied to DESCR8's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
If you can please answer my previous questions then i can buy it off you if in good condition and will fit to my gtst. Please let me know how many Kms this has done, what condition and whether or not this would be suitable for an r33 gtst. -

can you please provide me info on the T3/T4 turbo. Is this a DIRECT bolt on from the standard R33 gtst? How many kms has this trubo done? serviced how often? how good condition? -
Damn straight! I think PSI Dynoi is a pretty good benchmark industry standard... I'm not going into the whole dyno argument again but many workshops & show cars still use PSI for dyno ...
-
I thought the GTR standard was 207 kilowatts from engine right? which is about 210 rwhp. with FMIC and a few other little things the gtst would easily be pulling 210 rwhp.... so if on rolling start why do you think the GTR would win? wouldn't it be even? twin or single turbo still same HP from rolling start and close weight between the 2..
-
Well i think Skyzer 1st of all said something about members pack being a shirt, cap and sticker? could be wrong but i thought i read that... is that right? Well if so then thats worth a bit already and the SAU sticker remember lads always adds and extra 5 rear wheel horsepower.

Hey Skyzer after talking to my bro you were right rollaboyz are NOT a registered club.... and for very good reasons from what he told me. He said that meeting must be held where minutes will be taken. A treasurer must also be organised to look after money ins and outs. He said there are MANY complications... the one that hit me the most was this "the biggest downside is we need to get public liability insurance when running an event, even a cruise!!! at the moment, we arent registered, we're nothing, nobody, if you have an accident on a cruise no one can sue anyone because they mention rollaboyz... who's rollaboyz, its just a web site. (its more complicated than that, but the minute you go registrered you need insurance on EVERYTHING, even sound comps, incase somenoe gets injured)" Guys I am easy either way but after hearing this i realy don't want to have to pay for public liability insurance each time we have a cruise... cruises should be fun and at our own risk.... not the clubs....

Tis a sad day :-( bummer news dude! Just think of the R31 as an upgrade... come to think of it ... IT IS! aahahaha!! Will keep my ears open for any people wanting supras..... So what insurance are you going to go through now?
