There was talk a while back of entering WA SAU in one of the auto salons or motorvation... please keep in mind to do this we MUST be a registered club... other than that though what are the other benefits of being a club? as mentioned most people are happy about us being a group, perhaps someone could make it clear of why a club is better than a group?

In your opinion gtstVSPEC would the 4 puck clutch be better that a 2500lbs multi button brass clutch? Also is it nice and easy to push the clutch in? I can't stand being on the freeway in peak hour with a friggin hard clutch to push in...

Welcome! I am sure you will enjoy your new ride. Wel i think for most of us the 1st mods we do are the exhaust and intake. Exhausts can be expensive but i tend to think that if you get any other mods done you still have a plug stopping it all at the end of your car... get rid of the plug so to speak and you will notice more of a difference with each mod. By the way skyline exhausts sound much nicer than honda civic exhausts.... so i recon go the exhaust and air pod and win up the turbo a little bit... that should put a grin on your face... as far as 17's go... check the for sale section. And local mags stores.

How much would something of this calibre set me back? with the forged pistons and porting will that then make the engine equivalent to a 2.6 litre?

Well i pretty much have the same setup besides the Power FC (I have SAFC and ITC) as one of the other guys in WA (WASSABI) and he made 315 rwhp on a VERY legit dyno. My intercooler and piping is quite large and i also have Dump & Down pipe straight from the turbo... at the moment I am pushing 260 rwhp on 12 psi but have recently wound it down to 10 psi which pushed out 251 rwhp. with the ITC installed, fuel pump and t3/t4 turbo i don't think that 310 rwhp is too much out of the question, as long as the injectors hold... I will be happy as long as i hit 300 rwhp. Is Brendan f running stock turbo @ 14psi? So by the looks of it forged pistons will have to be considered in the future.... prob when i get some more $$$ maybe if i keep the hp at 300 rwhp until i can afford forged pistons might be the way to go.

Heya Everyone! Well Am now in planning stage of doing next small stage of mods, hybrid t3/t4 turbo & Fuel Pump This will put me around 310 rwhp. At what stage will i need forged pistons? will my engine be ok off standard internals running this HP off 14 psi boost from the hybrid turbo I already have the normal 1st stage of mods eg FMIC, clutch SAFC + ITC (if i can get it working!), oil catch can But yeah am just worried if i ever end up giving it a bit for sometime would the internals Be ok? any other things i would need for reliability?

couldn't agree more with gtst vspec there! Ive learnt now that nearly every dyno has a different reading... Weve all seen before in the past were some one says they pulled 280 rwhp with only exhaust, boost and some Fast and furious stickers down the side (which naturally add 50rwhp anyway!) So maybe when looking to get just a tune well don't concentrate on how correct the dyno readings are maybe judge on how good the operator is!.... I have also heard good thing about SST maybe give them a go?

I guess like with all different quality of services you pay more in some and lessin others.... I use PSI performances dyno and so do MANY other high performance tuners. I heard a rumour on the weekend and i dunno how true it is so i aint gunna stand by it but i did here that with the 32 GTR's instead of pulling out fuse or wire apparently when you 1st start ignition it's 4wd then if you turn it off then turn back on again it goes into RWD if this is true?? could it work for the 32 GTS4

They did... will try and find summoners R34 mpg's for ya.... beat a porsche quite easily and hammered 32 and 33 gtr's... saw 11.13sec pass. also had more mods since then....

Yeah i know mine aint the most powerful thing out there but i was happy to take the trophy and know that i have 60 more HP that a R33 GTR Vspec:uh-huh: Cabin Auto salon is where I'm hoping I will be getting sweet real figures at though boys... Yeah i know! The funny thing is that Vspec GTR that i mentioned which only pulled 170 rwhp had pulled 250 rwhp on the EXACT same Dyno a few weeks ago.... he even couldn't beleive it..... many of the V8's were getting there mates to sit in the back coz they though the wheels were sleeping but they were still getting low readings.... strnge.... then again wheel slippage can be a VERY big factor especially since it is a car show and every person that was on there had armourall'd there tyres!
