  1. Cheers Badgtr34. I'll get you the pics you requested soon. Had to remove the cover off one of the gauges to replace the globe so I need to get it back together before I take the photos. I'll see whats involved to get the oil pump off.
  2. No idea what year the crack is from. Its stilll in the bolck atm. What do I need to look for??? Don't really want to have to remove it as I don't have the space to store it once its apart.

  7. I bought this 92 shell to build into a stripped track car but I currently need the cash and the space back. I have this car spread everywhere atm. It is original paint with NO RUST or RAIL DAMAGE. Shell is dead straight. Will need a paint job. Only problem is it is missing radiator support(same as gtst?? and was unpicked nicely) ,bonnet,lights etc. Taken to repair another car. Has gaurds, brakes, all glass, complete rear end inc diff lights etc, front drive shafts, steering rack, most interior except front seats. Another set doors. All wiring looms. Rear parcel shelf electronics. Comes with apexi shocks and nismo lmgt2 17x9 rims. Car currently is stripped of most parts so all it needs is the deadening scraping out, painting and re-assembly. NO ENGINE OR BOX!!!! After $3500 and will fright car to anywhere at your expense. I have had heaps of gtr's and this shell is easily the best of all the cars out there. If it in this condition it will still be tight still. Called DOTARS and they said it came in under the old scheme and has import approval. In Melb. Also have a RB26 complete with a cracked ring land on 6. Standard bores with no damage. $2000.

  10. I've got some Apexi shocks and springs. They came in a shell I bought and haven't had a chance to try them in my car yet. They look to have very good spring rates too $450. Will find out soon. Also have a set Teins for $550. Need to see if the wind up and down?? Gives you the spare change the springs to put 7kg/mm in the front and 5kg/mm in the rear. I think there about $150 pair front and rear from whiteline.
  11. I was doing some vibration testing and they thought I might be interested in applying for a position in there dyno fascility at Vipac in South Melbourne area. They gave me a look and it was very impressive. They are setting up the facility that will test all jap imports that come into aus for emissions as part of compliance. They only put a rwd dyno in though??? Spend Millions on a fascility and skimp on $30g extra for 4wd dyno?? Also they have setup a dyno for testing trucks and busses. Dyno rollers are about 1.5-2m dia each. The pit is bigger than my house and they put a huge swimming pool on the roof for cooling. It was to be setup to do real time testing at all speed and distances. There is probably about 50 gas monitoring gauges in each room. Might be worth contacting them but I guess it maybe way to expensive for a uni project though. Only properly setup place in the southern hemisphere for that sort of testing if you have a big truck. Are you talking a real truck or little desiel truck/van??? Torque output will most likely limit you to which dyno's you could use.
  12. Cheers mate. The front sits way to low. Can't even get a trolley jack under it and they bottom out all the time. Rear isn't to bad. Might be lucky.
  13. I have some R33 GTR springs. Can I just put them in 32 gtr shocks. Its for a 32 gtr. I don't care if it sits a a little funny as long as it sits higher. I'm guessing the fronts will be fine but the rears?? Anybody know.

  16. The boot has sold. Just sold clear indicators and headlights. I have some injectors and a original resistor pack but I have the injectors for sale with the rb26dett engine on ebay ending tonight. I have 40 people watching it so hopefully it sells but if it doesn't I'll seperate the injectors.
  17. SOLD!!! Spent a day on it and got it running nice and got a call the next morning from a guy wanting a look. Its always the ones who call that come and buy not the time waster who ask 1000 questions. Again sold through carsales not the time waster forums. No offence to the forum but it useless for selling cars even though I am silly enough to keep trying.
  18. I have the main engine loom but it missing the CAS plug and afm plugs. Is thats what your talking about. I have the gtr engine ending tomorrow on ebay so I'lll see if the buyer wants it but if not I'll sell it. Also have a complete gtr wiring loom for a 32 shell.

  20. Seems like the 35 won't need much done to it looking at the times their doing atm. I alway think about upgrading to a 34 but the 32's go just as fast or faster on the track. Looking at the Australian car market I think the 34 will have to drop a little more as clean tidy 33 gtr with good mods are struggling to get high $20k's and any 32 over $20k would have to be immaculate with a long list of quality mods. I have been watching the car market for a while and the cars just sit on the net. Going nowhere. People with money who can afford to buy a 34 can afford to spend the extra 15k for a really clean example and the seller car afford to hold it until they get a buyer. But I believe for the average person who could only afford an average 34 they'll ask in the mid 40's. If you gave an offer of under 40k some of them would have to sell as they couldn't afford to have the car just sit around and pay interstest/rego/insurance on that amount of money. I've bought a clean reg'd 32 gtr for $10k a few years ago and a complied clean/straight r33gtr for $12 last year so they are out there and becoming more common. The 34 gtr's will be next!!!!! Hopefully!!! Expecially once engines start to die in the cheaper examples. Even though imports think the prices will hold. Cars are being sold locally for cheaper than what they can be brought in for with the earlier models lately. Just my opinion. We'll have to wait and see.
